I think it depends on how committed you are to using it.
I wasn't too impressed with the Wii Fit - I thought it was geared more towards fun activities, rather than fitness.
I then tried EA Sports and it's much better and definitely works up a sweat. I found the delay between exercises a little annoying, but in reality I was so puffed out from some of the exercises it was probably a good thing.
The big thing is motivation. I just don't have it :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
The yoga really made a difference but I did do it every day for a couple of months so you have to keep it up like anything else I suppose. I think the other bits are just more fun than anything though hula is always good ;)

I used mine to help me train for the Race for Life. Used to do it once DS was in bed plus also did the muscle exercises as well which I found were great once you got used to them.

I've got the My Fitness Coach game, and so far I've lost at least four-six inches off my belly, two off my hips and the same off my legs. It's really good as if you have stuff to use with it it puts it into the workout. The profiling at the beginning sets up the best programme for you and tracks losses

I do it all because I'm scared.
