check in after a major absence (!) and thought I'd see how you're getting on - seems pretty well. I'm quite jealous of your 0% card - I've tried for a few, a couple of times a year so I don't have stack of nonsense on my credit rating, but never sucessful *sigh*
I'm also impressed that you've made such a dent into your £14K target for the year too. Keep on going!

Hey KarmaChi, nice to see you again! How's things with you?
It's quite exciting about the 0% cards as I've never been accepted before. That's why I don't really believe it! The paperwork arrived for one yesterday, so that's back in the post, so fingers crossed not too long!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've just redeemed £5 amazon voucher from a survey site, so happy there!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi peaceandfreedom, good to see you again. How are you?
My huge payments are just as a result of the new loan. I added everything on there as it was, and just as the balances updated took it off as a payment. So there's nothing special there I'm afraidNow the hard work starts and I've actually got to start paying things off!

Hey DDFW, I'm good thanks and you? Here's to 0% and good ebay sales"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I've had a pretty good weekend actually. DH and I have been sorting stuff out. He's tackling a load of bits that we are dealing with for his brother, and I've been going through the books that I have listed for sale.
I've reorganised the shelves, so everything should be easier to find, and have pulled off a load that I think have had their day and will now go for booting.
Also, out of my own books, I've pulled out a load of my old classics and checked to see which were available for the Kindle. I've downloaded the free ones, and that means that a pile of 20 or more books from my shelves are now destined for the boot sale. :j
I love my kindle, it's going to make a huge difference to the state of my house :T
DH has just taken me out for dinner too, so that was lovely as well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
