Just wanted to add that it is definitely important to choose the correct category when listing ebay items. The two remaining bundles I have on sale have already received far more bids and views than even the best of the other bundles did last week.
Bit annoyed with myself about that but never mind, I know now and have other ideas for making my clothes bundles more appealing. It is a crowded market on ebay but (without wishing to blow my own trumpet here) I do rather a good job on the listings and the clothes really are lovely and mostly in lovely condition. Aim is to make £200 profit from ebay in January. Woo-hoo!!! :beer:0 -

And so have I. Got LOADS done today which is just as well 'cos yesterday I spent so much time clearing the driveway of snow. As well as lots of cleaning and other jobs, I have made 2 dozen mince pies, brandy butter, stock for the gravy with the turkey giblets, stock for the soup with the turkey carcass (our turkey is boned and rolled). Sent off 3 DHL parcels as well. Have been listening to the carol concert from Kings on TV, lovely stuff. Feeling quite Christmassy now. :xmastree:
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Jwil and everyone who pops in to Jwil's diary to chat. I will be starting my own diary soon but I'll still pop in here as it's lovely and cosy in here.
MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL! :xmastree::snow_grin:xmastree:

That's very true, with some of the things I'm selling, I'm not 100% sure about them so have to guess the category. I'm sure that someone who knows more about it than me would do much better, but I'm happy with what I'm getting.
Someone random once emailed me about one of my listings, and told me what I should actually write - I took her advice and made much more than I was expecting. I thought that was very nice of her, especially as she could have netted herself a bargain and sold it on again!
Good luck with the sales for January!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hope everyone had a good Christmas!
We had a lovely time until DH put his back out on Christmas day. He was in agony for the next couple of days. He's gone back to work today, so hopefully he will be ok, he does a lot of lifting as part of his role.
DH got me a kindle for Christmas, so I am loving that, though I really need to get my pile of books down more!
We also were not very MSE yesterday and went out and bought a new chair which will be for DH as it is more upright than our sofas so should help his back, and a laptop, as my computer is many years old now, and there have been a couple of occasions recently where things have gone wrong so I am worried that it may be getting a bit old. The laptop is a backup, and also means that I can have the freedom to use it anywhere without being tied to the desk.
I'm struggling to set up wireless broadband though, so it's rather annoying me!
I sold two items on ebay the other day, and have some more going out tonight, so will update then. My relisting over Christmas seems to have worked, all of these items have been on numerous times, and now quite a few are selling (assuming everyone pays up!)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done, Jwil. It's surprising how busy ebay is during and after Christmas!
I have so much to do today but don't seem to be getting around to doing any of it. Better get on with something.
Enjoy your Kindle and your other new stuff. :j0 -
I got called back to work early  so haven't been on for a couple of days.
Payday today, so will get some payments made later I expect.
Happy New Year everyone!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
