    Well done, another sale. :)

I now have bids on 11 out of my 15 ebay items but the bids are not very high. My profit is currently about half what I'd hoped for. I think I put the clothes in the wrong category - I listed them as job lots because otherwise the postage is limited to £4 which no way covers it. I'll do it differently next time I think. Anyway, it's still about £50 profit so far allowing for ebay/postage/paypal costs, so not toooooo bad.

Braved a trip to Cabot Circus today - the kids wanted to do their Christmas shopping. The roads were fine and Cabot was busy but not that bad actually. Have now bought all I need for presents. :T

Just the food shopping to face tomorrow.

It's possible your clothing will go up more, so fingers crossed.

The roads here are still pretty lethal, so we haven't been going out unless we have to (apart from work and I've been bussing again). We got most of our food at the weekend though so we're pretty much organised, just got to go out and get a few more bits, so fingers crossed it gets a little bit better.

I bought a book on ebay the other week, it's second hand and came from Buckinghamshire. It arrived yesterday and when I opened it, it was an ex library book from Taunton :rotfl: They probably paid a lot less for it than I did

I relisted all my ebay stuff yesterday and have one bid already so pleased with that. Closed the NPB on my non payer, so that one is relisted now too.

I'm off work now, so hopefully will get some bits on over the next week or so.

    Have a good day everyone!

Some of it went for a bit more but it wasn't great - I am fairly sure the choice of category was the culprit but we'll see what happens - I've relisted two bundles that didn't sell so maybe they'll do a bit better. I see that it's rather a crowded market on ebay though!

Did the big Sainsburys shop today. I went off quite confident it was all going to be horrible and I'd just have to grin and bear it, but it wasn't too bad. Busy but not horrendously so - I self-scanned so got through the checkouts in no time at all, and the Nectar points and a voucher took £35 off the bill. :T

DH will be going into Weston before Christmas so he can pick up any small bits I've forgotten but whatever happens, it'll definitely be turkey and all the trimmings this Christmas. :D

Have received the last of my amazon orders as well, so Christmas stockings will be pleasingly full too.

I see we have more snow forecast for Sunday onwards:eek:

What a cheek with the library book! You do very well on ebay, I'm impressed.

Hope everyone's pre-Christmas preparations go well - only two more days to go, and then it's a few days of eating, drinking, sitting by the log fire and generally doing nothing much. :xmassmile

Sold a box set of books that I've had on amazon for about 2 years yesterday :j Got £18.77 :T:T

I'd kind of resigned myself to the fact I was keeping them though, so was initially a little disappointed :rotfl: but now I'm glad it's a nice bit to add to my total.

We went and got the last few bits for our food shop yesterday so we are all sorted. One amazon order for Christmas has not turned up so I am debating on whether to buy it again or not. I'll see how much it is in town.

Off into town in a mo to meet some friends for lunch so will probably have a little wander around. I don't need anything so no pressure! Hopefully the buses are running, so I'd better check that!

Glad you got everything done! I hope we don't have any more snow, I'm fed up with it now. Our road is on a slope so it is treacherous.

    Looking forward to Christmas!! :xmassign:

I've been a busy bee today, cleaned the kitchen (including the oven), bathroom, tidied through, wrapped pressies, popped out to get one that is mysteriously lost in the post despite having been posted before the snow, got LOADS of whoopsies in Tesco, so the freezer is well full now :j, broke the computer  and fixed it :D, walked the dog, packed an amazon sale :T (£2.34), posted it, prepared veg for tomorrow, made casserole for tonight, all with xmassy songs on the radio!

I've had enough now, so am off to relax.

Hope everyone on here has a lovely Christmas, thank you all so much for the support you have given me over the last few months, it's been fantastic.

    You have been busy :T

And so have I. Got LOADS done today which is just as well 'cos yesterday I spent so much time clearing the driveway of snow. As well as lots of cleaning and other jobs, I have made 2 dozen mince pies, brandy butter, stock for the gravy with the turkey giblets, stock for the soup with the turkey carcass (our turkey is boned and rolled). Sent off 3 DHL parcels as well. Have been listening to the carol concert from Kings on TV, lovely stuff. Feeling quite Christmassy now. :xmastree:

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Jwil and everyone who pops in to Jwil's diary to chat. I will be starting my own diary soon but I'll still pop in here as it's lovely and cosy in here. :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL! :xmastree::snow_grin:xmastree:
