Almost there for that Bingoport payout :T
I saw the challenge you started btw. Looks like you've got a good crowd involved tooThink I'll pop over to that challenge too

My 99p sale on ebay hasn't paid up, but it looks like they've won and paid for something since. I'm going to give them til tomorrow and then do the NPB on them. It's so annoying
A buyer did that to me a little while ago - it was only for a £2.75 item as well. I sent several reminders and it was only 2 days into the NPB process that they finally coughed up.
Meanwhile, they had been active on ebay and had paid for another item, very very annoying. :mad:0 -

Thanks La Escocesa, a good number have signed up. I was a bit worried I'd just sit there on my lonesome
I'm hoping that, and this diary will keep me focussed next year!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

It's really annoying, I just don't understand people. They are usually the ones that pay up late and then say they need it quickly too!
Thanks for joining in the challenge btw it's good to have the company!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hiya Jwil and everyone,
Another question about the challengeand I know before I ask that the clue is probably in the title :rotfl::rotfl: Anywho's i want to keep track of how I am doing so shall I just put how much I actually pay e.g paid £x or shall i list the debts and strike them off as I whittle them down  - probably answered my own question :rotfl::rotfl: but due to the dratted interest if I pay £1000 my debt (quite sadly
) doesn't reduce by that much. So sorry for being a pain with the questions.
And Grr! to people bidding for things and not paying on e-bay.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
We have lots of snow! I guess you do too, jwil?
Yesterday we had a fair bit of snow - we put the tree up yesterday and played Christmas songs and it was actually snowing outside and everywhere is already covered in snow, so it was very Christmassy. :xmassmile
Overnight we've had loads more, so now I get to try out my nice new YakTrax.
Hope the roads clear enough over the next week for us to do some food shopping, or it'll be turkey with oven chips.
Made mincemeat and my first batch of mince pies yesterday - ate too many as well. Will really have to lose some weight soon.
Got an unexpected evening's work yesterday helping a friend at a function, don't know how much it'll be but it all counts.
My ebay items are going very slowly, bids on 3 items, all low amounts. Ah well.0 -

Hi DDFW, I would do whatever is easiest for you.
As you can see I have mine listed individually in my siggie. But I also have a total for this challenge. I'm only counting the amount my debt reduces by, so I wait for my statements to come through and update with the latest balance. This means my interest payments don't count. Like you I pay hefty amounts off each month, but only a little comes off the balance as it is mainly interest.
If you don't want to have a continual reminder of your debts or don't want people to see them all, then I would just have a running total. I keep all of mine there so I can see at an overview of how I am doing."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Yes we do too! We went out to get the most of our food shopping this morning, and slid through a traffic light as it was changing - it has a camera on it :eek: So now we've got to wait for a couple of weeks to see if we were caught. Hopefully not, as I think we were over the line when it went red, but it's very close.
Apart from that we've got pretty much everything we need now, just a couple of last minute bits to get later in the week. If we get snowed in though, we don't have to have oven chips with our turkey:D:rotfl:
Losing weight is one of my targets for the new year too. Homemade mince pies are scrummy though, I don't blame you for munching!
Good luck with your ebay sales, I shall relist in the next couple of days, but I've got nothing on at the moment. Sold a book on amazon today though so that's £4.29 to the total! :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've sold another book on amazon, so that's £5.54 to add to my total.
Hope everyone else is well!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Well done, another sale.
I now have bids on 11 out of my 15 ebay items but the bids are not very high. My profit is currently about half what I'd hoped for. I think I put the clothes in the wrong category - I listed them as job lots because otherwise the postage is limited to £4 which no way covers it. I'll do it differently next time I think. Anyway, it's still about £50 profit so far allowing for ebay/postage/paypal costs, so not toooooo bad.
Braved a trip to Cabot Circus today - the kids wanted to do their Christmas shopping. The roads were fine and Cabot was busy but not that bad actually. Have now bought all I need for presents. :T
Just the food shopping to face tomorrow. :eek:0
