Hi La Escocesa, trying to get my !!!! in gear to get some stuff on ebay but am struggling to find the motivation at the moment!
Good luck if you do manage to get anything listed."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I decided to get some stuff listed on ebay today, but when I went to get the box it has completely disappeared!:mad: I cannot find it anywhere, and cannot understand it at all because I had it yesterday! We sorted out some more stuff yesterday so we must have stacked it somewhere by accident, but neither of us can see anywhere where it is. Bizarre!
So I was really rather miffed about that, and instead have taken photos of two boxes of stuff to go on. I hate doing the photos most of all, so it means that they will be ready when I do get a chance to list. I still have 4 boxes to photo so might try and get some more done today.
On the bright side, I have a load ending tonight and 5 items are sold so far!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Right. The good news - I'm feeling motivated again, so need to get a plan of action in place. I'm also considering following slimming world again, as I'm starting to feel in the right frame of mind to tackle my weight. I'm going to try and do it myself, and if I do manage to commit to it, I might ask my doctor if they take part in the referral scheme to go to class. I can't afford it myself, and don't want to go unless I'm sure I'm committed. Also, when I've tried to lose weight in the past, I wind up spending a lot more on food, so I need to try and do this on a budget.
The bad news - I'm over my overdraft limit on my lloyds account. Not by a lot, but the money I transferred hasn't arrived as quickly as I'd thought. That's really annoying as the charges are going to be really high. Also, I need to get some stuff on ebay as I'm a bit short this month.
The depressing news - Back to work today, boo! Hundreds of emails and two urgent deadlines to be completed before the end of the week (both of which I knew nothing about before I went away!)."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hey jwil
Good to hear you're feeling a bit more motivated. We're into the last quarter of the year now  so just think how much you'll have achieved before the year is up.Have you cleared about £2.5k since June? That's amazing.
Is it more books you're selling on e bay? I've still not got round to selling that bottle of perfume! What's wrong with me?! I too need to get my motivation up!

Hi La Escocesa!
I HAD cleared 2.5k since June, but things have gone a bit wrong since then so I need to update my totals. I can't believe where the year has gone!
I've got books on ebay and also needlework kits, a lot on there at the moment is stuff from my MIL, but there is a bit from me too. I'd like to get as much of that stuff cleared as possible, so that we can have more space in the house!
I have Kindles on the brain today, I blame you :rotfl::D I really want to get one now, I was reading a thread on here about them.
MUST PAY DEBTS FIRST, DO NOT NEED A KINDLE

I haven't been PADing recently, as I haven't caught up on here. I've just added all my payments over the last couple of months and it comes to £918.18. I'm going to add that to my total. It's probably a bit more than that as I've been putting change in the coke bottle too.
If I didn't have debts, I could afford a Kindle!!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hey lovely, how are you? I'm going back to Sliming World tonight so if you fancy a bit of support I can pm you on here or you can get me on facebook. Haven't been on here that much recently but tend to be on fb quite a bit. Keep going, you're doing really well. And yes, i'd love a kindle too. Not helped by the fact that my sister in law has given me a catalogue full of books to look at! Not nice.
Take care xxLBM 27/12/14.

Hey svb, I'm good thanks, how are you? Good luck with Slimming World, we can support each other!
Hmmm, not doing so well, I'm just about to update my figuresI'll get there one day though.
It's not nice about the catalogue of books, but I'd have a field day just lusting over them :rotfl: I've actually got a notepad by me, so when I read about a book that I fancy trying in a magazine, I write it down in there so I can add it to my amazon wishlist. God I'm sad!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Right, deep breath, the new figures are:
Mortgage - £130,776
Unsecured - £22704.12 + £13,998
Total = £130,776 + £36,702.12 = £167,478.12:eek:eek:

That's quite depressing. The 'bright' side is that some of the debt is BNPL on catalogues, so worse case scenario if I don't pay any off earlier.
Oh well, it can only go down."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
