I got a few more items on turbolister and have now uploaded it to ebay. If they all sell, and for minimum bid that would be around £155 so not too bad!
The good news is, one item had a bid within minutes of it being on there, yay!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hey jwil,
I thought since you've been visiting my diary I'd drop in and say hi on yours!
Seems like you're getting on top of that debt, and I'm impressed at your task to earn £1000 this month. I have no doubt you can do it though . . .
And clearly I need to check out bingoport! Maybe I will make that one of my things for next week.
Just keep swimming!

Hey Karma-Chi, thanks for popping in!
The raising £1000 is going to be a tough one, but I'll see how I get one. I've a few more bids on things overnight, so that's good.
Annoyingly I have discovered that it is free listing this weekend, but they don't allow turbolister so I'm not sure I've got the patience. I can relist everything that goes out on Sunday though."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I have one thing on my to do list for today...........
Win £112 million on Euromillions! :rotfl:
Better try and remember to buy a ticket"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
ha ha jwil - thats on my list too! I play online so very easy to nip on and get a ticket when I remember!
Well done with the ebay listings - that is a massive amount of items! I tried turbo lister once but didn't really get on with it - might have to try again.
might have to have a look at bingoprt too - even getting a couple of amazon vouchers would help out for christmas. do you know if there is a thread on here about it?New surname New start!

Hi jwil,
Have just had a (long overdue!) catch up with your posts and just wanted to say that I'm feeling really inspired again by all your extra money-raising activities. I'm still plugging away at eBay - just transferred a neat £400 into my bank account, which is a lifesaver! - and budgeting away, but the additional moneymaking stuff has tailed off a bit since I got back from my hol and all the rubbish divorce stuff. But I shall definitely be checking out bingoport now! Thanks!

Yeah I've just read the email about free insertion fees on ebay. Which is actually really handy as I was intending to put some things up this weekend. Last year's halloween costume for one!
Good luck on the Euromillions!
Off to research bingoport now!

Right, I'll try and do a lesson on Bingoport. I'm not sure if there's a thread on here, if there is I haven't seen it! But I heard about it through people on here too.
Bingoport is a free bingo site, they get their funds by reviewing paid bingo sites and getting referral links (I presume).
The link is www.bingoport.co.uk
They operate in 'Port Points' and you earn points by posting in their forums, doing surveys (occasionally), and by winning them in the bingo and slot games. You can redeem your points for £5 amazon vouchers, cash for paying bingo sites, bingoport goodies and for various charities.
You need 10,000 points to redeem for a £5 amazon voucher, 5,000 to redeem for most of the other things. Out of your amazon redeem, you will also recieve £2 in cash on Bingo Broadway - a cash site. You need to join bingo broadway and link your account to get this £2 (not essential I believe, but I did do it, and play the £2 - it's free after all, and you never know!)
When you want to redeem for an amazon voucher you must have played at least 2000 points in bingo over the last 7 days.
Redeems are processed each Thursday (you need to redeem by Wednesday night to have your voucher Thursday morning), so I make sure I play my 2000 points every Thursday just in case I am lucky enough to get enough points for a redeem.
You earn 100 points for every 'post of substance' you make in the forums, and you get points for the first 10 posts you do every day - so that means you can earn 1000 points a day.
A 'post of substance' needs to be (I think) 50 characters long, and needs to be relevant to bingo or slots. Have a look at the forums and you can see the sort of things people talk about. You cannot copy and paste your responses.
You cannot redeem just from posting points - you then need to play them in Bingo and/or Slots. Bear in mind you do need to play 2000 points in bingo for an amazon redeem.
So, this is what I do:
I make my 10 posts in the forums, which earns me 1000 points. I then go to slots and play those 1000 points. Every time I win I 'cash out' the amount I've just won, so I know that everything left in my balance is winnings which are valid for redeems. I then wait for them to build up enough for 10,000 so I can redeem.
Every Thursday I start playing bingo, so I know I've played my 2000 points. If I max out on tickets, I know I need to play 41 games over the week. Periodically throughout the day there are times when the jackpot can be guaranteed 2000 points, otherwise it varies according to how many people are playing. You can also get extra points if you take part in the chat games and there are tourneys which run every so often as well. If I'm at home I'll just keep on playing until I've played the whole lot, otherwise I'll play a few a day and keep a tally of how many I've played.
That's about it really - it is gambling, and you have good days and bad days, some days you just lose all your points, other days you win loads like I did yesterday. If you are dedicated and do do it every day, you can redeem approximately once every fortnight.
It does take some work, but I enjoy it so don't mind.
I hope that makes sense and helps someone, sorry it's so long!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
