ha ha jwil - thats on my list too! I play online so very easy to nip on and get a ticket when I remember!

Well done with the ebay listings - that is a massive amount of items! I tried turbo lister once but didn't really get on with it - might have to try again.

might have to have a look at bingoprt too - even getting a couple of amazon vouchers would help out for christmas. do you know if there is a thread on here about it?

I've just bought a ticket online too, so I'm all set :D

I actually have over 400 items on ebay at the moment, most of it has been on there a long time though. At one point it was 1200!! I'm a bit worried they'll think I'm a business, but it's all from the house we are clearing.

I haven't seen a thread on here, but I've tried to explain it above. HTH

    Hi jwil,

Have just had a (long overdue!) catch up with your posts and just wanted to say that I'm feeling really inspired again by all your extra money-raising activities. I'm still plugging away at eBay - just transferred a neat £400 into my bank account, which is a lifesaver! - and budgeting away, but the additional moneymaking stuff has tailed off a bit since I got back from my hol and all the rubbish divorce stuff. But I shall definitely be checking out bingoport now! Thanks!

    HP :p

Thanks HP, I can't imagine I am inspiring for anyone :rotfl: Well done on the £400, that is brilliant!
Yeah I've just read the email about free insertion fees on ebay. Which is actually really handy as I was intending to put some things up this weekend. Last year's halloween costume for one!

    Good luck on the Euromillions!
    Off to research bingoport now!

It is handy, good luck with the halloween costume, great time to put it on!

Good luck with Euromillions to you all too :D

I've just withdrawn £10 from butlins bingo, did my free scratchie and then thought I'd have a play at the keno game on there, won £4 which took me over the £10 limit, so that is another £10 raised towards my £1000 target.

My ebay stuff which I put on yesterday is doing really well so far, so I think I'll try and get some more on at the weekend.

DH wants to take his motorbike out, so that will give me some peace and quiet!

Oh, forgot to say, I did a survey yesterday about cereal. After completing the survey saying that I didn't like the look of it, wouldn't buy it, consider it too expensive, they have decided to send me a bag to test! :rotfl: I'll give it a shot and see if they can change my mind!

Got my bag of cereal today, it sounds revolting :rotfl: I stocked up on yoghurt tonight to give it a shot (I don't like milk, so tend to use yoghurt instead!)

1200 items on eBay? 400?! Seriously? Then I shall gracefully bow out of any future eBay challenges with you - I am freaked out at the thought of having to mail out my outstanding 8 sold items!

Thanks so much for the helpful Bingoport tutorial and good luck with the cereal. But I'm sorry to have to tell you that I'M down to win Euromillions this week :p

Hee hee, I was thinking the same thing - although I don't have items to post yet. I'm going to post some stuff over the weekend to take advantage of the free listing. 400 items - blimey, there'd be nothing left in the house if I posted that much stuff. :D

Good luck with the ebaying, folks. I've managed to earn 90-odd quid in cashback so far this month, but no idea when I'll actually get the cash. Work is looking up as well, which is a big Phew! (I'm a contractor). October is shaping up nicely at the moment.

We were clearing the worlds most cluttered house! Thousands and thousands of books, hundreds of bottles of perfume, thousands of needlework bits and pieces, and loads of other stuff. I've still got loads to go as well. That's not even including the stuff I've got to sell as well (there's not so much of that). This is why I think I now have an aversion to clutter, I now know how hard it is for others if they are left to clear it. We donated huge amounts to charity, have sold loads, car booted loads, donated collections to societies, it's just unreal. The good thing is though, we hardly threw anything away - we did not want to do that.

I've managed pretty well with it though, there was just on hairy weekend when I had 40-odd items to post and I got ill, but I still managed to get them done, just a day later than thought. And once I posted the wrong things to two people, but that worked out ok as well, they both kindly posted them back to me.

I can't wait for the day it is all over though and I have a nice clear house and don't have to spend my life on ebay and amazon!

Good news on the cashback peaceandfreedom, and also good news about the contracts!:j

HP, I hope the bingoport info is useful, if you have any queries, give me a shout, I'm not sure how clear it is :rotfl:

The bad news is, I don't think I won the Euromillions last night :( Though I haven't checked my online ticket yet, and I haven't checked the raffle side of it either.

The good news is, someone in the UK won it. If it was you HP - would you like to be my friend :D:D actually, the same applies to anyone else who woke up this morning to find themselves a multimillionnaire :p:iloveyou: :rotfl:

Right, 4 more items sold on ebay yesterday, so that is another £12 to the pot. The stuff I put on the other day seems to be doing well and there are a lot of watchers so fingers crossed it will sell.

Seriously though, would you really want to win that much money? I'm not sure I would. I think I'd honestly be happier with maybe 5 million. Enough to pay off all the mortgages of siblings on both sides of the family, for us all to go off on a splendid exotic holiday, and then to live comfortably without money worries forever, but without being mind-blowingly rich.

With such a vast sum of money - what would you DO with it all? My instinct is that I would donate a great deal to charity, set up a charity of my own, and also open a book shop. I've always wanted a book shop - something along the lines of Borders in Bristol - God how I loved that shop (victim of the recession). My youngest daughter and I would spend hours in there pottering, then have a luverly coffee in the Starbucks there. Aah, nostalgia.:)

No seriously, you'd have to give loads away. I've calculated (yes I am THAT sad) that I'd like £3 million which would give us enough to survive comfortably for the rest of our lives, to have a bigger house, sort out the family and have some luxuries, but not too extreme. Anything above that would be a bonus naturally. But also right now, anything below that would also be very welcome!

I loved Borders in Bristol - so sad to see them all gone. My ultimate favourite though was Borders in Dundee, DH and I spent hours in there browsing when we were on holiday, they had such a fantastic selection of books!
