Rest up jwil and enjoy your book - hope you are fully refreshed for tomorrow and have a fab weekend. Which book are you reading now?
As usual I have a few on the go - a Kathy Reichs book, One Day - which has been in my pile for years, so I dug it out in case I want to see the film, and Michael Palin's diaries of his Monty Python years. I've never seen any Monty Python:eek: so it doesn't make a lot of sense, but I think DH has a couple of the films so I'd better dig them out.
Are you (or anyone else!) reading anything good?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I have just uploaded 23 items to ebay :j. I'm not expecting great things, but every 99p helps!
I think DH has a few bits ready now too, so I'll pop those on in a minute too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Truly though its good to have you back honSorry to hear you've been ill ((hugs)) you take care. And well done on totting up all the debt too - thats a really big and good thing to do
I actually wondered if you didn't have any debt as it wasn't in your sig. We both actually owe a really quite similar amount though i've never snowballed mine
Realistically i won't have paid the debt in full by the end of the year but i am aiming to have got them all to £0 before my birthday next year and then its onto the mortgage. So i'll race you if you like - well we can pitch in ideas together and then these pesky bills whittled to nothing :0)
 Spuds! Mine are due to be harvested too but may leave them until next week when i'm out in the garden anywho's

*sob* you'll both be debt free and I'll be here sad and lonely on my own"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Well, if we race, you'll win. There is no way I'll have paid my debts in full by the end of the year - if some miracle occurs, maybe by the end of next year, but you can see my DFD in my sig - it's a long way off.
I didn't have my debt in my sig for months because I kind of completely went off the boil and wasn't making enough effort to clear it. I'm back on the boil now.
I do have plans in my head for generating income, especially passive income, but they'll take a while to put into practice. Meanwhile, it's ordinary work and ebaying/car-booting/money-saving and anything else that gets those debts down.0 -

Reading The Tiger's Wife at the moment but am struggling to get into it.
I have just ordered another Anthony Trollope from amazon - he's my favourite 'classics' author and I've read all of his most well-known novels but was pleased to find there are quite a lot of others that I didn't know about. I love reading the classics and Trollope in particular - I find it very comforting for some reason.0 -

I quite like reading the classics too, there's something about them."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
