Dropped 20 parcels at the sorting office today. The postie asked me if my bag was bottomless as I kept on piling them out :rotfl:
That's a nice bit of decluttering and a bit of cash coming in."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
HIya Jwil
Good luck with ebay, you can do it. Its hard work listing etc but when the pennies add up it makes it worth it. Your husband was really fortunate to get that bargain the other day. Lovely when that happens. Your cat sounds like my mams dog, will only eat when its at home!!
Animals certainly keep us on our toes but we wouldn't have it any other way.
I sold a double cd yesterday .... amazonia gave me £1.68, it cost £1.72 to post it...lovely..my son had a giggle. He said 'you pay amazon to take your things of your hands' He is right sometimes.
Anyways sold a broken camera this week and netted about £16 so that is going into my freezer fund.
Heading to the sun (espana:) ) next week and looking forward to getting toasted:) Long winter ahead of us. Looks like it might be starting very soon when you look at the sky this evening. Flippin miserable.
All the best Jwil and keep going.

Thanks ebayqueen, I've managed to pay people to buy my items before too :rotfl: It's easily done!
£16 for a broken camera is pretty good, well done!
Hope you have a lovely break in the sun, should be nice! It's been nice here today, but I think the rain is heading in from tomorrow."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all its pouring down here - i wouldn't mind but as i need new gutters and front door (as there's a pool behind it when it rains ) then thats the main reason i don't like it
A holiday in the sun sounds fab ebayqueen :T and like you say lovely to have before the winter settles in brr! Great news on the camera sale :j although not so great on the cd! - I've had that when i've mispriced postage on e-bay and then had bad feedback on cost of postage  grumbles
Ooh jwil we're both on the £1000 challenge for this month then- do kinda wish i had at least half as many things as you do for ebay though
Great on all those parcels going - clutter out and money in :T:T:T
I've had someone bid on an e-bay item just 99p and now they've e-mailed to say they didn't mean to bid on it and can i just cancel the item  i don't think i've ever accidentally bid on something though i suppose it does happen
peaceandfreedom - if you're reading but not posting as i sometimes do the i hope all is well with youCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
DDFW, I fail to see how you can 'accidentally' bid on something either. You have to click through 2 or 3 times to confirm your bid!
Hope the rain doesn't get too bad there. It poured down this morning, but has stopped now here.
There's certainly plenty here to ebay, it's a mixed blessing really. I know I've got plenty of potential income, but then it's all the clutter too. Clutter free and debt free will hopefully come together! :j
Peaceandfreedom - I hope all is well with you too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Done my PAD of £2 today. I've also withdrawn £5 of my lottery winnings towards my £1000 challenge which makes me £75/£1000 = £925 to go.
With the small amounts, I normally just leave them in the account to pay for another ticket, but needs must this month!
I've got a few items going out on ebay tonight, but only one has a bid on at the moment, and I think that will be the only one which sells. It's £4.99 though, so I'm not complaining too much!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Bit of a depressing day today. Staff meeting this morning where it was revealed that two of our team are up for redundancy. They now have to fight over one post.
The "good" news is, that I think this means I might be safe for next financial year, though nothing is definite yet. If so, that gives me 18 months to get rid of as much of this debt as possible."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi Jwil
Sorry to hear of the redundancies but thankfully it is not you. Just keep going and the totals will drop slowly but surely
Take care

Thanks ebayqueen, it's given me a boost to get sorted financially so that I don't have to worry so much about these things."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
