PAD of £2 done again, and I've got £5 to add from ebay as well.
£80/£1000 = £920 to go."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
You'll get there with your target jwil
- So sorry to hear about the redundancies - i know it was something you mentioned a while ago and though as you say its obviously good that its not directly affecting yourself i know from experience how difficult it can be to work with others who are impacted and the stresses that this can bring. And also how it makes you think about how secure your own position is.
Good you have got the boost to keep on tackling the debt though
I am going to try and persuade OH to put some pictures on the comp for me with his phone - i can't do it with minebut at the moment its the only way i can get pics on for e-bay. Maybe that'll persuade him 'love, you know all that stuff i set out to picture... it'll have to stay there until i can take the photo...' teehee, we will see

Hope you managed to convince OH to help you get the pictures done DDFW.
I'm shattered today, it's been a very long day, so I'm thinking early night with a book.
Have a good evening everyone!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I managed to pick some very cheap batteries up when i went to the bank - so cheap 2 have already run out but i expected that and i have got the use out of them as i needed so am pleased
Rest up jwil and enjoy your book - hope you are fully refreshed for tomorrow and have a fab weekend. Hi Jwil, DDFW and all
I've been out of action for a couple of weeks - I've been very unwell - boo, hiss! But thanks for missing me.
Not quite 100% but very muchly on the mend now. I read the posts on here but didn't feel up to writing anything back. You've been very busy ladies, I'm very proud of you. :T
Now that I'm feeling better, I'm feeling very grateful for the fact that I'm normally in good health. Really, when it takes superhuman effort to go out to the greenhouse to check on the tomatoes, you realise how easy it is normally and how much you take it for granted. The blog post on zenhabits today kind of reinforces that message - live in the moment and appreciate it.
So today I finally switched on the lightbulb that I switched off some months ago. I went off and worked out a credit card DFD, and I aim to reduce it considerably (see sig). I am sick to death of being in debt and it's time I sorted things out once and for all.
Have a good weekend, I'm harvesting the spuds tomorrow. :j0 -
Going back to my earlier challenge - I usually make around £3 for many things I sell. That means to get £929 I need to sell 310 items . I relisted 91 items this morning, so that would help if some of them sold, but they are all relists so I'm not expecting a lot.
You can do it, Jwil, I totally believe in you. :beer:0 -

I hope you politely told them no-can-do - it will cost you the listing fee if you cancel. As Jwil has said, it's very difficult to accidentally bid on something on ebay, it's not a 1-click process.
And for 99p, come on, they will just have to cough up - they'll have to hope that someone outbids them, that's all.0 -

Welcome back! You were missedSorry to hear you were unwell, hopefully all is good now.
It's very true about living in the moment, and making the most of things.
Well done on the new LBM, I'm sure you'll be able to reduce that. I've also had enough so am determined to get rid.
Hope the spuds are coming up well today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
