Sold another 3 books on amazon yesterday :T so in total that's £11.45 to add. I've also just had notification of another sale which is £4.34 to add as well :j Loving this amazon rush at the moment, but wish the person who's payment didn't go through would update, as that one still hasn't been sorted yet.

Also sold a few items on ebay last night which is another £43.18.

Grr, I'm STILL getting that notification about the book which has been sold but the payment hasn't gone through. Wish they would get on with updating it or cancel it.

Free listing this weekend on ebay though, hurrah!

Yes, you were right about that, jwil. :D

Although I've just listed 3 items on ebay (more clothes bundles) - I don't get free listing anyway because I am using an outside site to list the stuff and I don't think that qualifies for free listing. I am working on creating my own nice template so I don't have to pay to use another site.

The good news is that I listed some bundles last night and one has sold already - hip hip hooray!! That's another 20quid-ish in the coffers. Have also just got confirmation of a new credit card which I am using to transfer the balance from an old cc that has just run out of its 0% rate.

While wandering around the garden yesterday I realised I have a total of 10 tomato plants outside and 16 in the greenhouse. If they all produce, we're going to be eating a lot of tomatoes. Have already had some very nice cucumbers, and the peppers are looking good too. Loads of salad leaves and spring onions and rocket as well. Feeling optimistic today and it's another fine day. :)

Great news about the ebay sale, it's always nice when something sells quickly!

Also good news about the cc too, it helps so much having 0% or low interest cards.

I'm very jealous about the tomatoes, we eat a lot here and there's nothing like home grown. We haven't grown any of our own for years now, but it's something I'd like to get back to. Maybe next year.

I've got to go and talk to the Britain in Bloom judges later in the park in town. Glad it's a nice day for it!

Shame the weekend isn't looking great, but plenty of opportunity for ebaying, and most likely a trip to see Harry Potter, yay!!

    Hi everyone :)

peaceandfreedom - thank you so much for your suggestions - i did post a reply and then lost it and was so tired and it was so late didn't do another :o - i already iron - for others not myself and its a great idea about freecycle so thank you :) - well done on your e-bay sale too

jwil - well done on e-bay and hope your amazon buyer sorts their card out for you :)

Your veg sounds great peaceandfreedom - i'vegot tomatoes and hoping to spend time sorting out the garden next month - enlisting the help of my mother for this one ;)

I need to list more on e-bay but as i can only list 3 things in the main category i use this has really slowed things down for me - not to mention the fact there is next to nothing left in this house to sell  Looked at selling an ond mobile phone but it'll only net me £1 - may get more on the carboot methinks

I love gardening. Yesterday I treated myself to spending the morning out gardening rather than working. Did a few jobs I've been meaning to do for ages, like plant the last of the sweetpeas that were languishing in their pots, and also plant up the last few tomato plants. I also spent some time weeding out in the front driveway (it's gravelled and I don't like spraying weedkiller so everything has to be hand-weeded). It's very peaceful and therapeutic, I love it.

Definitely. I decided a while ago to stop selling stuff online that was going to generate a profit of less than a fiver, because it's not worth the labour involved. Instead, cheap stuff gets car-booted. We are going to do several car boots this summer and anything that's still unsold by September is going to be charity-shopped or dumped.

Our house is the opposite of yours in that there is plenty of stuff to sell, some of it going back far too many years. Two days ago I finally gave our old Moses basket to a charity shop and my youngest child is nearly 14. :rotfl:

Don't know why I'm laughing, the cot is still in the attic along with a couple of stair gates. :D

We've got loads to sell too. We were going to have a blitz this weekend, but seem to have made our way to the cinema to watch Harry Potter instead :D

I have sold another book on amazon though!

Up bright and early this morning, but too wet for a boot sale. DH wants to go to the flea market though so we are off there later.

Relisted some bits on ebay last night. Will do some more relists later, and hopefully get some new bits on too.

Good work with the ebay stuff. I've sold my second bundle today so that's another 20 quid in the pot. I've been given two x £5 vouchers from parcel2go so that saves a bit on courier costs as well. Quite pleased. :T

Have more stuff that could do with being listed but not quite sure I can be bothered today. Have lots of other things to be doing.

Lucky you! We are waiting for the school holidays (just one more week to go) and we'll go on an Orange Wednesday. I've just bought the last few DVDs so we can catch up - I've forgotten half of the story at this stage and there's no way I'm reading all the books again.

    Was it good?
