For the past 3 Sundays, I've been entertaining - yesterday it was a BBQ for 20 people. Quite looking forward to a weekend of doing nothing, which I won't get next weekend but maybe the weekend after ......
20 people, eek! Hope you enjoyed it anyway."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I have -£2 in my bank account and I only got paid on Thursday  I am over my overdraft limit for the first time in many months
I have to take the cat to the vets on Thursday, I do have some cash in my purse, but eek anyway!
Why does Amazon money take so long to come through???
Even with my hefty sales this week, I'm still very short for this month, but hopefully it will get better from next month. I still need to find some money towards the mortgage, my cc bill and the broadband bill - about £500 in total
I have sold another book on amazon, so that's £12 to come :T
I'm also due £57 in cashback which was supposedly going to be payable from 30th June, but that hasn't materialised.
I'm selling a few bits on ebay but that's only around £5 worth at the moment.
It's going to be a long month...:("Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Jwil, have you requested disbursement of your amazon money rather than waiting for automatic payment? I agree though that it does seem to take ages to arrive even when you've requested payment.
You'll find a way to get through this month, just keep on going Jwil. Your ebay and amazon sales are amazing, keep at it.0 -

Yes I did. It still tends to take about a week to arrive though for some reason. I have had some land in my account today though, so that helps!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done on the book sales. The new patio doors in the sun room must make one hell of a difference and the right time of year to enjoy them.
I didn't manage to sell my bits on ebay but did sell some Weight Watcher scales, so was pleased with that.0 -
Hi jwil - must admit to having about 2 odd days myself this year where i have gone very slightly overdrawn just due to not paying enough attention and having to wait of money being transferred. it will get easier - for all of usCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000

Thanks retired, yes the new doors are brilliant, I'm still very much enamoured with them. It's surprising how much of a difference they do make. We've also discovered that they overcharged us by £40 so are sending a refund, so even better! :T
Well done on the scales sale, that's brilliant! I hope you have some luck with your other items soon as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Well I've been out surveying since 7am this morning, and found 20p on the floor :T
Every little helps as they say"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Been to the vets tonight, so now £46 odd lighter. Also in a couple of weeks will be £200 odd lighter as the cat needs to go in for dental work .
Its not overly a surprise so I'm not too fussed, though it will have to go on a cc so need to get some ebaying done now methinks."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
