Glad work is going well, and fingers crossed for the new quote!

Great news about the bathroom, I bet it will be lovely once it's finished.

Nothing wrong with a lazy day though, hope you enjoyed it!

I did enjoy my lazy day but it always makes me feel guilty!

The quote I did was obviously good because they have asked me to do the work, hooray. :T

I hope this work will lead to lots more in the same area, so I intend to do an amazing job. I always try to over-deliver anyway. :)

I forgot to say - I decided last week to take over the morning dog walk. It means DH gets an extra half hour in bed, he doesn't get stroppy with the dog when he's on a go slow, and I get some exercise each day.

It's going ok so far, and is better than nothing. The good thing is, it forces me to do it, as I can't leave the dog without him having had a walk so I have no choice but to get the exercise.

I have been running on the odd occasion too, but had no energy for that this morning.

Excellent idea, Jwil, I am sure you'll feel better for it. I keep meaning to get back to running, I used to quite enjoy it, but once I stop I seem to stop for ages and not get back into it.

That's fantastic news, well done! :T

I hate it :rotfl: but I need the exercise, so must get on with it!

I'm much better with a proper exercise session - half an hour on the cross trainer or a DVD or something, but it's just not happening at the moment so I thought I'd do this instead. I find nothing more boring than ambling around.

Ah, we are quite different then as I consider a half-hour on a cross-trainer to be boring beyond belief. A DVD is fine but even better is an amble in the woods / hills. It's fascinating to see how the landscape changes through the seasons.

I don't mind the cross trainer as I can stick a DVD or some music on while I'm on there.

I'm happy to walk in the hills etc, but in the mornings, I just have time to take the dog around the block, so it's just pounding the pavements around the streets. Not quite the same, and incredibly boring! During the weekends we always used to get out and about a lot more which was nice, but at the moment, it's all about the clearing out and selling stuff. It will be nice when we get the time to do these other things again!

Thanks DDFW, I think things are beginning to come together. :)

Could you offer your services as a babysitter? Could you perhaps do some ironing for people (can't remember if you are one of those people who never iron :D. I find ironing therapeutic though my ironing pile is now alarmingly high :D)

What about putting a 'wanted' on Freecycle for car boot stuff - sometimes people are happy to offload stuff onto someone.

I have definitely got enough for some ebaying AND a car boot but sadly the weather is looking bad for Sunday again.

Have you tried DooYoo DDFW? Writing reviews for cash or amazon vouchers. I haven't been on there for ages, and ought to give it another go, but it's another option.

That's annoying, we were hoping to do another one. Oh well, maybe it will change by then!

If not, we can certainly get some more on ebay. I'm wondering if we are due another free listing weekend.
