1) no processed food (within reason)
2) don't mix fats and carbs
The second rule means no ham/cheese sandwichs, no cheese on toast, no spuds with your roast etc. However, there are lots of alternatives.
Yesterday, after declaring how craving-free I was, I ate half a biscuit and last night (was hungry because I didn't feel like much for tea) I ate some peanut butter which is not allowed (all nuts are a mixture of carbs and fat).
Still, this is very mild compared to what I would normally stuff down.
It sounds ok, I've done a bit of food combining in the past so I have managed that sort of thing before.
HALF a biscuit??? That should be celebrated :T:T You didn't eat a whole one! You could also have eaten a lot worse than peanut butter, so if that counts as a binge, very well done to you!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". One of my ebay listings from yesterday has a bid on it, and one of the items I put on on Sunday does too.
I've had notification that someone has tried to buy one of my books on amazon but their payment hasn't gone through, so I'm hoping they will sort it out. It's a book I bought with my amazon vouchers, but when I got it, it was rubbish, so I've relisted it in the hope that it sells. It was £20 new so I'm hoping it will go. From the price I listed it, I'll get most of it back so fingers crossed!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi all

jwil & peaceandfreedom - thank you both for your kind and supportive words - i know that i have low self-esteem now - for lots of reasons - the debt, the weight, my job... anywho's i am trying to do something about all of these things but my lack of confidence means i've let things like what happened the other day slide in order to avoid confrontation. You'll get there DDFW, it is so easy to lose confidence and hard to get it back. You're always so supportive on here though, so you've got plenty to be confident about! You know we are always here too if you need us x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Just picked up the van with a new starter motor fitted and some other cable. £163. Suppose it could have been worse. Hopefully that is it for the time being though.
We took my car to a tyre place to check one of the tyres and it's still legal at the moment, so don't need to replace it just yet."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Been up and about this morning, so now it's time to get on with some stuff. First target - the extension. Going to try and clear some stuff out of there.
My amazon buyer hasn't updated their payment details yet, so I still haven't sold the book. Grrr..."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

That payment thing has happened to me a couple of times with buyers and both times it was sorted out and purchase goes through OK.:)0 -

What Jwil said.
You are a great support on here, keep your confidence up, don't let the b****rs grind you down.0 -

Main work today is in the garden. Got to plant the sunflowers and sweetpeas and some lettuce. Sow some more lettuce I think. Loads of weeding out the front and the gravel driveway. Get beds prepared for lots of new flowers that are being hardened off outside the greenhouse.
Then I have some proper work to finish before Monday. Also doing the Race for Life tomorrow but it's only 3 miles and I'll half walk/half jog as I haven't been out running for ages.0 -

Yes, I've had it before too, and twice the buyer has paid up, but once they have not. Still nothing.
However, I have had an email from someone asking me if I've posted their book yet. The name that the email comes from is not one that I've sold anything to, so I'm wondering whether that was them. I've just emailed them back to ask which book they are asking about."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
