I would very smugly like to announce.....
:dance::dance:80 items on Turbolister!! :dance::dance:
Go me!
That's 10 for DH and 70 for me. I had a lot of similar items so could just use a template and change the pertinent details and the photo which makes it a lot easier and quicker.
I need to make sure I've got the next batch prepared now, as that's everything which was ready to go on."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Oh, and I've sold another book on amazon so £5.42 to add to the total :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Paid my CC bill so that's £10 off the total for the time being."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

I'm feeling a decluttering list coming on for this weekend.
Starting with a bedsheet that I've just gone to put on that is full of holes!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hiya Everyone
first off - AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHH! - sorry first post in a while and needed to get that out of my system after the day i've hadDoes anyone know why, when it seems you are moving forward with things and it can't get worse than it is - it suddenly does? *sob* Oh well, at least i feel amongst friends on here so thanks jwil and peaceandfreedom and also Eltee thank you so much for the smile you have given me with your "tale of the lost lunch" - and its a smile in a nice way i promise - so proud that someone else would do this too - once left some free food on a train and OH was most bemused by my attempts to get back an apple, muffin and a couple of crackers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
jwil :j:j:j wow brilliant amount to list and woo! on some decluttering too - i still haven't got round to doing my shoes but will be done by monday  - really need to find some stuff to list too you see
peaceandfreedom - huge congrats on your weight loss - that diet sounds fab and doesn't sound like a diet at all :T
erm news from me... at doctors again next week and am going to stress how hard it is when i am extremely tired and any chance there may be something that can help faster than 'possibly in the next 2 mths and if not possibly the 2mths after... and so on'.
Good news is i've started to stand up for myself a bit more tooi'm just always so accomodating but was spoken to in a rude manner today  usually i'll just not say anything and carry on and feel upset about it but today i decided i would say how bad mannered the person was. I felt better for it - i wasn't rude back just pointed out how i felt they were behaving - i was still a little upset that they thought they could speak to me that way but i realise that this says more about them than it does about me. So a small step but a significant one - i was pleased with the way i conducted myself too.
will try and get on more over the weekend folks - reading but hardly any time proper postsCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi DDFW,
Really hope the doctors can do more to help you - it must be so frustrating for you.
And well done for standing up for yourself. There is NEVER any excuse for someone to be rude to you - extra kudos for staying calm and not being rude back, just pointing out their behaviour. :T
Every person is important and special and deserves to be treated with respect. That includes you and don't you forget it.0 -
Now, this sounds like the type of diet for me - I'm definitely going to look up some info.
I am thinking of pinching the cat or dog's worming tablets :rotfl: I'm eating for the world at the moment  Something that would help my mindless snacking would be of great benefit.
It's very hard for the first week and still can be hard. I'm two weeks into it now and it's fine most of the time. There are two main tricky bits:
1) no processed food (within reason)
2) don't mix fats and carbs
The second rule means no ham/cheese sandwichs, no cheese on toast, no spuds with your roast etc. However, there are lots of alternatives.
Yesterday, after declaring how craving-free I was, I ate half a biscuit and last night (was hungry because I didn't feel like much for tea) I ate some peanut butter which is not allowed (all nuts are a mixture of carbs and fat).
Still, this is very mild compared to what I would normally stuff down.0 -
Sorry you've had a hard couple of days DDFW, you are definitely amongst friends here!
Have a good old rant if you need one.
I know exactly what you mean when it feels like one step forward and about 10 back. It's so frustrating
Well done for telling that person off for being rude to you :T There is no excuse for that at all. It definitely says more about them than it does you.
I do hope the doctor manages to sort something for you, I know what it's like when you just don't have the energy to do anything, so to have a medical reason for it and for it to go on like it is, must be awful. There must be something they can do!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
