    Hi,

    Thanks you both, its so lovely to hear from you.

    Had a good day, starting with an early trip to the gym, before heading off for shopping trip - which was good, had a lovely day with my youngest. The outcome:

    Travel kettle from Argos using my nectar points, so no cost to me. I need this for a forthcoming weekend away. I simply cannot function without tea and coffee;

    A new backpack from Accessorize. This is for work, so will go through as a business expense. Even though all of the money in the company
    Is mine, it feels like a freebie, as it does not count as my income so its very tax efficient.;

    Some tea lights for my burner;

    Eye drops for my oh so sensitive eyes.

    Then we went off for lunch, and there was so much food, we bought home doggy bags which will do supper as well!

    Now that I am back, I need to get out the soup maker to makes this weeks lunches (butternut squash, carrot and parsnip this week).
    I have also acquired a plastic pot which keep food hot for 3 hours, so my plan is to take porridge to work every day for breakfast. I simply cant face food first thing, and usually eat at my desk at about 9am. The added bonus to taking my food in, is that it is all healthy stuff, and I may even lose that half stone

    Other stuff to do before I slump is a couple of sewing jobs, where seams have gone (hmm, is there a link to the preceding sentence?) and a little bit of ironing (I iron as little as possible)

    Right, better get my stuff done. :)
