If you need to sell your house, price it right and put it with an estate agent and pay nothing until it is sold.0

Think about this logically...
If you're about to sell your property for a price you're happy with, then why on earth would you have to pay any money up front?
I'd tell them you'll pay them the money after the buyer has exchanged contracts.
The buyer will probably pull out, they'll say it's your fault, and then they'll keep your money.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Also: a warning over a home selling scam in which fraudsters offer to sell properties free of charge. The con involves victims being approached by bogus estate agents who offer their services with no fee. After giving a valuation at the property, the estate agent then lets the seller know that they have found a buyer who has already put a deposit down on the house. The crooks then ask the homeowner for a percentage of the property’s value – usually thousands of pounds – up front as a ‘commitment to the deal. They promise to return the money once the sale is complete, but of course, the rogue trader then just drops out of contact.0 -
