You seem desperate to sell. Just ask yourself, why would an investor want to buy a property that will not sell by normal means? That is unless you are selling at way below market value and in that case they will be paying you, not you them.
It is a con, please dont give them any more money unless ypu can afford to lose it.

hi no he parked outside what was the name of your buyer ?
Hi they said his name was Mr brown and he had drove down from Kent same company as you i p g Kemp house. I refused to pay valuation fee and have cancelled bank card in case they tried to take any money. I will be telling them today not prepared to gamble £1.199 of my money. The offer was to good to be true they they offered more than the house was on the net for i hope this helps you as i have struggled to make a decision, but common sense has finally kicked in.

Please just accept that this is yet another version of the same old scam.

There’s nothing to investigate, so don’t keep looking for the evidence that ‘it must be alright’.

Too good to be true means exactly that.

A genuine company does not work like this!

If they want the money up front its a scam.

Tell them to deduct their fee from the sale price. Or foxtrot oscar.
  • This is a definate SCAM...we sold our house last year and were contacted by them...offered us well below the value ( so we could move to our dream home)....guess that was so they could then re sell it at a higher price!

and if you pop that address into google maps it looks a very dodgy place where you can set up virtual offices  so it looks like you are in London but actually nowhere near.......

    Yep:

    Oh, please!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • We have also been going through the same thing this week. We haven't paid any money, not even the £79 they've been asking for but someone called 'Mr. Brown' came to my house on Wed and said it was one of 4 he was viewing that day (sounds very familiar on this forum!)

we've got a copy of all of their paperwork and someone is looking at it as it all looks so convincing. We aren't sure whether to go through with it but by reading all of these posts, it looks as dodgy as you can get!

If anyone has used these people before, can you let me know.

    Many thanks,
    Vicky
