This is the Scandinavian weekend cherisong, and having decided last night what I was going to take with me, I'm now busy fussing that I'm going to be too hot, or too cold, or not able to dance
:rotfl:
Need to finish tea and get going or I'll miss the beginning!0 -
How exciting, hope you sorted the wardrobe issues and that you have a fabulous weekend. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Those blinds sound fantabulous, Cheery! Have a brilliant weekend.
Cheri, I just had a look at that caravan site! Gorgeous, so brilliant.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hiya Cheery,
You'll have set off by now but am sure the weekend will be lots of fun for youI agree with Karmacat those blinds do send fab - any chance of a pic or advice on fitting said blinds? I too have the very practical berlingo and have been trying to persuade OH that we could just camp out in the back of it for small trips away
Meaning we'll be able to get out and about alot more rather than fretting over the cost of B&B's x

Back now, and gosh I had an utterly fabulous time!
:j :j :j SOOOOO worth every penny, and utterly marvellous! :j :j :j
Don't think I got a pic of the window blinds! But I will. They're made of wood, painted on one side, with gold stuff stuck on the other (although I guess you could just paint them whatever colour you want!). Be warned - they were an absolute pain in the backside to make! :rotfl: Took forever - they just slot into the windowframe and stay by friction, so lots of drawing newspaper cut outs of the window shape, stupidly fiddly sawing, and filing of edges (but not too much or they'll fall out!)...
I guess I could just draw round ours and send you the paper templates save you a lot of the bother!Let me know
Absolutely LOVED sleeping in the carSOOOO much fun, so cosy
Had lots of fun
Would definitely recommend it! Not much room for luggage with 2 of you in it (and we've taken the back seats out completely or the futon doesn't fit - they just unscrew with 4 screws (BUT DON'T LOSE THE SCREWS! :rotfl:) Defnitely going to do it again lots of times
Did lots of tooting too, and there were quite a few folk there I knewSo had utterly fab time, and now blabbering incoherently cos I' SO tired :rotfl: Looooong drive (although I did get to say (in Smash advert alien voice) "what is this place?" "it is called Huddersfield" :rotfl: which amuses me every time
:rotfl:)
Best trot off before I use more than my allocated amount of smileys0 -
