There's one I need to add to my Aims & Targets list - get the flipping bike out! :p Well done on the blog post BTW - I was wondering where you'd got to!

Cheri makes good points regarding working from home. Why not try using the same method as you'd use for bouts of housework? 15 or 30 minute blitzes really going for it, broken up with 10 minute bursts of lower intensity work or fun stuff?

i used to live on the outskirts of Huddersfield, the memories of those two and a half years still make me shudder!

Now I know why I don't read the debt free diaries, what a waste of my precious time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCsLcWvIbdA (about 1min 20 secs in if you're interested :rotfl:)

I've never been to Huddersfield :(

Hello Cheery , you have the dubious distinction of being the only MSE'er I've met (apart from DD but she doesn't count :rotfl:). Weekend sounds great :)

Oh dear and that is my precious time wasted (not). I really just needed something to cheer me up, pops into Cheery's diary - see you feel a little like me tonight Cheery (just read MG thread) and there was Gally to cheer us up :) Hope tomorrow is a better day for you. Enjoy the bath ((hugs))

Thanks Gally Girl! Just waiting for it to load :D It is an honour to be the only MSE-er that you've met! I hope I didn't put you off meeting anyone else :rotfl: :rotfl: :o

Cheri's right - thanks for cheering us up! :rotfl:

EH - yep, I will indeed do bouts of setting the timer :D (and perhaps in between a little decluttering of the attic :rotfl:) And yes! Get out on your bike! It's glorious out there :j Must get on my 'proper' bike soon for a bigger adventure :j

Had a lovely bath (run by Mr Daffs), which made all the difference :j Just the ticket, and now I'm all nicely calm again :T Actually didn't have a bad day at all today, it's was nicely productive and sociable - just a long one, and a bit of a wobble this evening :o Tomorrow I've got 5 (FIVE!) meetings (!) so not much actual sitting-down-and-working to be done - but that's good, because I'll have a nice doable list ready to do at home on Thursday and Friday. Always feel better when I've got a good prepared list, rather than a vague feeling that there's lots I should be doing but not entirely sure where to start...

Anyway, up early again in the morning, so best trot off to bed <yawn> Thanks for the moral support this evening you lovely lot :T

    lol ZTD :D

Long day today - started cheerfully and has gone rather gloomy since then. Just don't seem to shake it this week! :o

Anyway, I've got the evening to myself, so made a nice plan on the train :D

7-7.30 eat, and sit down :D

7.30 - 7.45 - clear up kitchen, put washing on

    7.45 - 8 hoover downstairs

8-8.30 repot plants on windowsill :D

    8.30-8.45 little decluttering session

    8.45- 9 little tooting fluting session :D

    9-9.15 sit and write

9.15-9.45 shred (well, we'll see about this, I've already cycled 8 miles today...)

9.45 -10 - put PJs on and make hot chocolate :D

10 - sit down with knitting and tv :D

And hopefully by then I'll feel like I've actually achieved something! :T

Excellent planning Cheery, looks like a military operation. I think I need a plan. Just had full on roast dinner (obviously without the meat) so currently flobbed out for 15 minutes before taking the Moo to the forest.

Doesn't it just! Before reading that I thought I was good for attending a newt training course all day and then managing to read for a bit, do exercise and cook dinner before going back out for more newting (9pm) :p

    Well, do you know what??

For possibly the first time EVER, I actually did EVERYTHING on the list!

7-7.30 eat, and sit down :D(had museli, but it still counts :D)

7.30 - 7.45 - clear up kitchen, put washing on (washed up, cleaned the windowsill, and put washing up, then hung up later)

7.45 - 8 hoover downstairs (did kitchen - I'll do living room another day...)

8-8.30 repot plants on windowsill :D (did 10 lettuce :T and had a chat with neighbour)

8.30-8.45 little decluttering session (cleared out basket of bags by back door)

8.45- 9 little tooting fluting session :D(went through all my scandi tunes from the weekend :T)

9-9.15 sit and write (oops, missed this one - does writing this count?? :p)

9.15-9.45 shred (well, we'll see about this, I've already cycled 8 miles today...) (YES! I did it! :T :T But, er, we'd run out of kidney beans to use as weights, so I had a bottle of Ouzo in one hand, and a bottle of Zeddi's Maltese prickly pear liqueur in the other :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

    9.45 -10 - put PJs on and make hot chocolate :D(done :D)

10 - sit down with knitting and tv :D(also done :D Programme all ready to watch, and knitting ready to start! :)

And hopefully by then I'll feel like I've actually achieved something! :T

And goodness me do I feel like I've achieved something! :j :j Just goes to show what you can do when you put your mind to it :D Remind me about that when I'm working at home tomorrow! :j :j

Souk - I sat on the train this morning and realised I'd already written a goals list for May - and in fact all the way up to October :rotfl: Obviously hadn't looked at it much :p Will post it up here tomorrow, I promise!

Cheri - so jealous of you wandering round the forest! :T

VL - er, newting?? What's that all about??

Right, going to trot off and knit or I'll get all caught up here and won't get it done! Bizarrely, I'm taking part in a knitted dish cloth swap :rotfl: and my swap partner is down somewhere near mexico, so it's going to take a while to get there - even longer if I don't start knitting it soon!)

Night all, thanks for being lovely as usual xxx

(and I'll do a money update soon too!)
