Great goals Cheery, even better that some are already met. Ahem - half way through is stretching it a bit though! There are 31 days in May so still a bit to go yet. Stop wishing your life away (mind you half way through would be useful in some areas of my life at the mo:))
Thank you very much for the post re men/partners on MGs thread. You said what I often think and I do try hard to follow some of your points that you make too. It was a well thought out and thought provoking post.

Ooops, sorry Cheri, not really wishing my life away at all! Eek! Glad there's more than half of May left reallyHave you got something exciting happening at the end of may that you're waiting for?? (took me a long time to write that post by the way
but glad I did, seems to have touched a few people in the way it got me at the beginning
)
Yep, I'm feeling much more cheery today :T Entirely hormonal - although now of course I'm hit with a rotten stomach ache instead - which I'd much rather have than the grumps!
Have got a list, am crossing off squares, breaking things down into 15 minute chunks, getting bits of work done and bits of tidying in the attic ready for mum coming at the weekend. Also using time when computer is loading things very slowly to do a row of knitting
Got to tackle a few Pesky Dragons now :rotfl: Don't like making phone calls, pah!
(ooh, and on a monetary note - MUST remember to sort out the breakdown cover before it automatically renews, I'm hoping it'll be much cheaper for a car than a rickety old van! :eek: Never cancelled the old van one beacause it was free to switch it to the car, but about £40 to cancel it, but I'm thinking if we're starting from scratch with a car...)0 -
*sniff* why do you say Dragons are pesky? - trust me we aren't!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Gosh I need to save this explanation somewhere don't I :rotfl: :rotfl:
I *know* dragons on the whole are not pesky, in fact, I find them rather cheerful, and once woke Mr Daffs up in the middle of the night singing a song about a Cheerful Dragon, so I *know* just how cheerful they are in general
I was merely looking for an alternative to the 'eating the frog' business going on at the minute - I have no intention of eating a frog, which are just as cheerful as dragons in my opinion. So instead of thinking of eating a frog as something slightly tedious that I was bit daunted by and was putting off, I was thinking of climbing up a steep hillside to ask a bunch of Extremely Cheerful, but perhaps slightly tipsy and exuberantly noisy dragons to keep the noise down a little - also daunting, not because they're mean, but because slightly tipsy groups of merrymakers generally don't like to be asked to be quiet even if they know really they should be because everyone else is trying to sleep.
Does that make sense???

Urm .. does this mean you have seen me on a night out
*looks around looking as sheepish as a Dragon can look!*

Did you deliberately wake Mr Daffs up singing about dragons, or were you singing and happened to wake him up? Also, is this a well known song or one you made up yourself?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
