    FW - not testing you dear :) More like testing myself :rotfl: But it'll be interesting to see how you get on! :j

    Cheery, what I meant was to test the suggestions together - I am doing it. All this misunderstanding is because I am avoiding the word 'try'.

    Good luck

    Oops, sorry FW :rotfl: Amazing how much we use 'try' isn't it??

    Souk - I used to work in a youth hostel (and a variety of other places) - again, nowhere to hide, always someone wanting 120 cooked breakfasts, or goats needing cleaning out, or 75 beds to change :eek: Blimey I loved that job :T Am actually wearing the t shirt this very minute :D

    Busy day today. Mum's coming over in a bit for the weekend, so before she gets here I've got to...

    * put bread on to rise (already done, but will need kneading in a bit)
    * wash dishes and tidy kitchen
    * quick swish of bathroom
    * tidy attic (she's sleeping, and it's full of stuff! :eek: will get moved to the sides :D)
    * quick tidy of living room
    * hoover everywhere
    * empty bins
    * run :eek:
    * shower
    * post on blog

    Obviously some of those can/will get missed off! But she hasn't texted to say she's left yet, and it'll take her about 2 hours to get here, so I should have plenty of time (unless she's set off and forgot to ring :eek:)

    Anyway, wildlife garden open day at a local school today (yes, I'm NOT going to the WI! :eek: but this place has tea and cake too :D) - will hopefully pick up a few cheery little plants too :T :T Then a full afternoon in the garden (with home made bread to keep us going :T). then perhaps off to the cathedral to see a friend's band playing this evening :T

    Then tomorrow mum wants to go to the museum, and I want to do some more gardening, so an action packed weekend!

    Am having a lovely weekend thank you! :T Did LOTS in the garden yesterday, and acquired building material etc for new wall thing, and actually took the sweeping brush to the garden paths which makes the whole thing seem a lot less overwhelming! :T :T

    Quite achey today though :rotfl: :rotfl: So lots of tea, planting out of seedlings (and planting blueberry bush mum got me for my birthday :T), and a trip to the museum :D Nice grown up activity :rotfl: (this won the children's museum of the year award I believe :D)

    Phew! Just waved mother off with a bag ful of home made bagels and a car full of sticks :rotfl: This weekend we have...

    * been to a school wildlife garden open day, played guess the name of the rabbit, bought eggs and buns and crocheted hair grips :rotfl:
    * made bread, bagels, and pizza :D
    * repotted all my seedlings
    * been and bought breeze blocks, sand, cement, and some new plants
    * weeded the garden to within an inch of its life (well, not really :rotfl:), planted a blueberry bush, swapped round a fern and a fuchsia, filled 5 bags of garden rubbish, and a few other things
    * washed up about 450 times :rotfl:

    Doesn't even look that much looking at it! :eek: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Anyway, got a couple of hours to myself this evening, not sure what to do! :eek: Need to:

    * pack lunch for tomorrow (I made 25 bagels - challenges is to get to tomorrow without eating them all :rotfl:)
    * find clothes and pack bag for work tomorrow
    * run?!?!
    * nice bath :D
    * finish knitting dish cloth

    Er, that might be all I can manage :rotfl:

    Absolutely - there's a whole world of knitted dishcloths out there VL! I have several, and am actually taking part in a dish cloth swap - this one's heading off to southern USA somewhere near the border of Mexico :rotfl:

    I'm not sure it's *that* exciting :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Anyway, I'm *still* sat here on my backside! Pah! Mr Daffs will be back soon and I've done NOTHING, NOTHING I tell you! :mad: So, I'm going to run a bath, and while It's running I'll sort out stuff for tomorrow, and then I'll hop in and be all nicely washed and scrubbed ready for work and a nice evening of doing even more nothing :D
