I'm a bit like LT - touch typer, bad speller - use to be a decent speed and I do like that I can type at the speed my poor brain works at!!

I just don't bother with my little fingers! Sometimes I type so fast though that I end up starting one word and automatically typing a different one cos my fingers work faster than my brain :rotfl:

No Shred done today - and I actually missed it! But I left the house at 6.40am, home at 7pm, out again at 7.20pm, home at 9, and I've just been slobbing out since then! :rotfl:

Spied another car... trying not to get all excited because there's bound to be something stupid wrong with either it or the person selling it... :rotfl:

I'd love to, but sadly I suspect not :rotfl:

Thing is, originally Mr daffs wanted a Hi-jet. I came along (but couldn't drive). He test drove one, it was like a hairdryer :D We bought an LDV instead.

Now we've got rid of that, and want something smaller, more efficient, cheaper to run and maintain. Cheery Hi-Jet fits all those.

Sadly, we also want something more comfortable, far less noisy, and capable of getting up a few hills without us getting out and pushing, so no Hi-Jet :rotfl:

I'm trying, I really am! I thought the paint job would swing it, but it appears not! :rotfl:

Ah well, back to the drawing board :rotfl:

(if it was just me, I would have bid on the last A Team van we saw advertised which said 'up close, paint job looks really bad :rotfl:)

What is it with people selling cars??? Goodness, I'm getting so bored with this! (and sooooo boring - sorry!!) :o:p

Spied a cheery car earlier (EvilBay, of course), looked like a decent person wrote the listing, emailed asking about service history, test drive etc.

Just got a response - do you know what it said??

"Hi its not my car so ur bedt phonin th number an sortin it out"
    :mad::mad::mad:

Should I reply and ask why on earth he's selling it if it's not his?? Or report him?? Or just sit here and get cross???! :rotfl:

And if I see ONE MORE advert that says 'no timewasters' I might explode!

Oh my, thats a lot of cups of tea! But how crazy of that seller! Or possibly illegal, you're right. Mad, completely mad.

Cheery, can I ask - that van, it looked great, but its selling for £150 - how long would something like that last? It seems so little.....

Anyway, hope its a good one for you, and that you can get back to Shred!

Morning, I'm much calmer today thanks! :A

It's actually fine to sell stuff on ebay for someone else apparently - although it's generally wise to say 'I'm selling this for someone else' (in which case I probably would have avoided it!)

I think I was partly just annoyed because they're relisting it because someone else messed them around (which I perfectly understand, and they weren't rude about it), so asked you to email/ring if you have less than 20 feedback things (I have, er, one I think :D). So I emailed, because it was late, and received that response! And I just thought 'pah! If you don't want me to waste your time, I'd appreciate it if you didn't waste mine!' :rotfl:

Anyway, all calm today, and just done Day 7 of Shred!:j Didn't feel very easy today though - probably because no breakfast first (and no bread or milk, so only a cobbled together breakfast afterwards!)

On the cards today is a shower (!), a milk-and-bread-fetching-trip, lots of PhD, a lovely friend visiting this afternoon, then a walk over to weed an old lady's garden. A long day I think - have to not miss the PhD bit out! :rotfl:

(and as for that car selling for £150, goodness knows how long it'd last - although I think it was an auction wasn't it so it'll probably go up??)
