Been and stood on the scales in Boots today - I'm trying to make it a regular Saturday morning thing. Last time I did it was Wednesday morning though - just before Evil Shred started. So, here we are with the cheery weigh in

    Start of Shred, Day 4
    Weight: 10 st 12, 10 st 10
    Bust: 36in, 37in
    Waist 33in, 32in
    Backside/hips: 41in, 41in
    Thighs: 24in, 24in

So that *appears* to be 2lbs off and an inch off my waist after 3 days of shredding :eek: If I carry on for the whole 30 days that's, er, 20lbs off and 10 inches off my waist??!:rotfl:

(Ignoring the increased bust size, I'm now not wearing squashy sports bra! :rotfl:)

Anyway, I'm now inspired to carry on, and will make sure I do Day 4 this afternoon! :A

Does make you think how weird must Victoria Beckham be with her 18" waist!!!!!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

Good grief, is that what she's got?? That's 6 inches smaller than my thigh!!!:eek:

Shred day 4 just done :j And I tried to follow the harder woman rather than the easy one :rotfl:

actually, it was much easier today! Don't know whether it's because the last couple of days I've done it first thing in the morning, before breakfast... whereas now I've just eaten a plate of pancakes and drunk a cup of tea :rotfl: Wouldn't normally exercise fuelled by that, but I'd just finished eating, and Mr Daffs announced he was off for a nap, and you have to take advantage of the time - the alternative was washing the dishes!

Actually looking forward to Day 5 now :rotfl:

Ok, I'm feeling in need of a tada list today! Didn't wake up til 10, didn't get up til 11.30, and all I've done since then is Day 5 of Shred and a shower :rotfl: However, Day 5 was easier than all the other days, and I'm starting to feel a little less podgy, so that's all good! :j Very motivated with it at the minute - shame the same can't be said for the PhD or the housework! :rotfl:

    Sunday's TaDa!!

    * nice lie in and breakfast in bed :p
    * Shred Day 5 :j
    * shower and dressed (ok, ok...) :rotfl:

Ok, best get cracking then! :rotfl:

cheery i've also had a lazy sunday morning, had a mini panic when i looked at the clock and saw 11 and then i thought of all the things i needed to get done today. Best get dressed i supose (it hasn't featured on the list as yet :) )
  • I'm being lazy as well - OH's restringing his guitar, peedie is sleeping and I'm watching the beechgrove garden and my old tutor is on there :) his voice booming out in my living room a bit disconcerting

Well done on the inches and the lbs - you are very motivated!!

I'm wasting time til the lodgers drop off the keys and we can go with OH's van to empty the house, means I get my crockery (tea pots) and washing machine back - still haven't fathomed how to move the piano - so we're having a head scratch about that, a local company will shift it for 150 so we're going to think ourselves first.

    Have fun today :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

don't envy you moving the piano! they are bloomin heavy things, mine certainly is. If we ever get a house that's the one reason i will pay someone to move us.

Morning Cheery, there is nothing wrong with having a lazy morning. In fact it is sometimes the best thing to do to help get the most things done later. Think of it as a very important part of your TADA list call it recharging batteries. I have adopted your TADA list on my diary and I want to say thank you so much. My friends and family used to say that I could even be competitive in an empty room and I never understood what they meant. Yesterday, whilst filling in the TADA list I had a lightbulb moment when I realised I was competing with myself to do more than I had the day before :rotfl::rotfl: Other people who read over there have also liked the list and plan to adopt it. You are a motivational guru :T

Fay - re piano moving piano - I am heading over to post something on your diary.

Good luck with the piano moving Fay! Cherisong's wheely board idea sounds like a good one! Glad you're having a nice lazy morning too :j

Have you managed to get dressed yet LT?? Hope so, or it's not going to be worth you bothering! :rotfl:

Glad you're doing a tada list Cherisong - although I just popped over the fence to spy on you, and your list is enormous!!! I'm well impressed! And I know just what you mean about finding things to do so you can put them on the list :rotfl:

(although I must confess, the only extra things I've done today are been for a walk with Mr daffs, and had lunch! So that's a grand total of NOTHING productive so far! :rotfl:)

Tempted to make a cake though, since everyone else seems to be doing it! :rotfl:

Hey, nothing in life is ever not productive. A nice walk with Mr Daffs is good and productive on lots of levels, investing in your relationship, investing in your health, enjoying the moment, making the most of the environment and weather, I could go on. As for lunch, well, you must have had to prepare it, eat it, wash dishes afterwards. All productive I would say. Can you tell I am trying to change my way of thinking as negativity breeds procrastination. There , I will get off my soapbox now. Thanks for peeking over the fence (although I dont have one at the moment and the whole world (especially the two grumpy old men either side) can see everything I am doing) it is much appreciated.
