Hi Cheery!
I love your 'Ta da list'...might have to [STRIKE]pinch[/STRIKE] borrow that one myself!;)
I've done quite a lot today...but, like you, none of my Uni work:o It's amazing how everything else seems much more appealing isn't it?!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh yes indeedy Milly! But I WILL do a couple of hours on it tonight, promise...
just rang second (or fifteenth, or fiftieth, whatever he is) van bloke, who reckons he'll pick it up at 10am tomorrow. Well, I'll believe it when I see it! But if he doesn't pick it up, I'll be setting fire to the darn thing in the street, I'm bored still of this silly game!!
Ah well,back to the attic...0 -

Don't set fire to the vanI hope it sorts itself out.
I've jsut spent alot of today looking for my furniture in my old house - tis daft, I got a lovely freecycle bed, and then paniced when I coudln't find it - thinking they'd taken it - it is lovely - turns out its all stacked in another room
Phew - OK so it was free - but - its nice - amazing the worth we put into things isnt it?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Glad you found your furniture Fay! Must have been rather a shock for you
It is indeed amazing the worth we put into things, but especially when they're old and free and cheery, they become kind of part of an overall lifestyle thing I think, which is a bit different to just always having things that are new and shiney and wanting the latest thing (or maybe I'm just trying to justify why I get so attached to broken down old things!)
(won't set fire to van, don't worry, neighbours would phone the police!)
Bloke who's collecting tomorrow turns out to be the 'last resort' guy we were going to ring if it didn't sell, who picks up old vans and (I assume) takes them to bits to sell the parts and fix up other vans. So a bit sad, but also recycling, so quite good...0 -
