    * hopped on bike to take £2 to Mr Daffs so he could buy something in the charity shop :rotfl:
    * finished sorting out the attic (for now at least!) :j:j
    * er, got distracted by reading a book that arrived in the post for a friend's birthday... :o
    * went through supervisor's comments on last PhD chapter

Now I'm tired and achey (bloody Shred!) and fed up - but then I've not taken my tablets this afternoon so that won't be helping...

Also annoyed I've done hardly any PhD AGAIN!:eek: But I'm struggling a little to know what to do, and have a meeting at 10am with supervisors tomorrow, so I'll be able to discuss the next move with them. :o

We've got people coming round at 7.30 to watch a film, so I think I'll do 30 mins of transcribing so at least I've done *something*, then tea and I'll try and find something I can do while watching film - knitting with all those needles is a little noisy sadly! :rotfl::rotfl:

does sound like you've been very busy.

I've spent my day off sleeping (which i really needed to do) and listing all the toiletries that i possess. The list is horendous and it's not even complete, though it's about 95% done.
Just going to make dinner - spag bol, and a banana loaf which is the first cake toward the 'few' i promised my mum for the British Legion fund raiser.

Oh I love that smiley Honeybear!! Thanks :j

LT, why are you listing toiletries? Just so you can use them up, or are you selling them off? And how much are you baking for the British Legion?? Banana cake sounds lovely!! Sounds like you needed a sleep

I've just done 45 mins of transcribing, and feel a little better, like I've got something done at least! Best go and have some food, friends will be here in about 20 minutes and Mr Daffs is in bed! :rotfl:

i'm listing because there's nothing like a good list :) also i'm part of a 'use it up' challenge, one which i've done off and on for about 4 years and it's staggering how many i have even though i've not bought too many of them for quite some time.

i'm going to try and bake a nana cake, mincemeat cake and some butterfly buns for the legion fundraiser.

Right, please excuse me, I'm having a bit of a self indulgent day here! Um its YOUR diary you can have a bit of a self indulgent day :j

Do you know, I'm quite impressed with the amount I've managed to save recently! :T I know it's not huge amounts, and I've pretty much stopped paying Mr Daffs back for the time being (because if I carried on, he'd then have to pay for the entire van, and then I'd have to pay him back for that... :rotfl:). But my new budget system is pretty much working :T

I'll be so pleased when we've got this new car, and I've paid Mr daffs and these fees back, I'll feel proper rich! :j

That's all just brilliant :D doesn't the things that add up make you feel so great

:jSeriously Cheery - well done - you've acheived tonnes this past wee while!!!! :j
