    Hi Cheery! Sorry you feel so bad/so grumpy - but hormonal-based horribleness is *really* horrible, there's no two ways about it. The fresh-food-from-the-garden sounds wonderful, tho, and so does the knitting - what are you doing at the moment? I photographed a fabulous knitted cupcake when I was in north Norfolk on Wednesday - it was selling in a posh shop for £7..... there was a lot of work gone into it, mind.

    Some of those knitted cakes really are fab KC! I'm knitting a cardi for myself after a friend bought me knitting shop vouchers for my birthday :D

    It's this pattern (that's not me in the photo, obviously! :rotfl:) - but the colour is 'kingfisher' - king of bluey green. I'm very taken with it, first time knitting with circular needles - and I'm just doing the sleeves using double point needles for the first time :D Very impressed with myself - and no seams to sew up! :j

    Also very pleased with myself for going for a run earlier :D Very exciting . Mind you, my nose was running faster than me, and still is :rotfl: On the sofa with knitting and The Corpse Bride now :p

    (and I think I might have just said I'd join everyone else on Hypno's thread who's doing that darn stupid exercise video :eek::eek:)
  • YOu lot exhaust me!!!!

    Make sure you take care of yourself - xxxxxx

    Cardi is gorgeous!!!

    Thanks :D I am enjoying cardi very much - although getting a bit dizzy with all that going round in circles, and rather impatient now I've only got one sleeve and a bit to go! :j

    Today will be a busy one - but cheery :j At some point I'm going to...

    * tidy up a bit
    * plant redcurrant mum gave me
    * rescue supermarket basil auntie gave me (hmm - don't have any potting compost to rescue it to!:o)
    * start sorting out the attic/sewing room :eek:
    * knit :D
    * visit friend who's going into hospital tomorrow
    * go to Mr Daffs' gig in town :cool:
    * plan out next 3 weeks of work :eek:
    * buy train tickets for Tuesday (just work, not exciting!)
    * put washing away
    * tidy bedroom

    Er, I think that's it - but that's quite enough! :rotfl:

    There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
  • Cheery nice list - the basil - if you were careful with some soil, you could pot it up with garden soil, just make sure its got some of the original compost mixed in and it should be OK.

    Save you buying some compost - and when you plant the currant from your mum, you can take some of the soil/compost from it and the hole.

    Goodluck with your list. I have to confess, I slept in and I ache today!
