Will have to look out for one of those! Were you at the museum??
It was just in a freebie magazine on the tube but it made me think of you so I left it open on that page in my bag all day to remind me to tell you about it! :rotfl:@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Makeup! How lovely to see you
so so pleased about your flat, and you've got to take photos of your coasters, they sound great!
HB, I did laugh at you keeping that mag open in your bag all dayHow lovely to be thought of by someone you've never met!
I'm feeling much better todayWell, physically just as bad, but I've spent the entire day on our work day out, on a boat, in a cafe, in a pub, playing darts and pool and generally having a thoroughly all round good time! Hooray! And it was all free! Back home now and worn out - another early night for me I suspect!

Well, I'm not having a productive day, but I am having a nice cheery one! :j Done hardly anything, stayed in bed for 2 hours reading 'Zen and the art of knitting', had pancakes for breakfast, did some knitting (very zen), and then just pottered about on the internet and in the garden
Then did a cheery Lightspeed survey, which tipped me over to enough points for a £5 amazon voucher, so I'll be using that to order a friend's birthday pressie for £6.24 later in the week :j:j Feels very MSE! :money:
(I've been making all of my presents for over a year now, pretty much, but this is a book I've really wanted to get this person for ages (it's *about* making things, does that count?? :rotfl:) and I couldn't afford it at Christmas, so it's a nice treat (and I'll be able to borrow it off her once she's read it! :rotfl:)
Right, back off into the garden now, and then I really should tidy the house a little - my mum and her sister are visiting tomorrow
(jam, bath, film, and more knitting lined up for after the housework :j:j)0 -
Oh well done on the lightspeed survey giving you a voucher
What movie you going to watch??Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Voucher just arrived so I've ordered book, and present will actually be ON TIME< which makes a big change for me! :rotfl:
Evening's plans changed a little, as Mr Daffs has decided he's not going out - which is good because he can help me tidy upBut I was going to watch Earagon
But he won't want to, (but he's definitely out tomorrow night, so I'll watch it then).
Anyway, I've finished the garden pottering now, and just had the *nicest* omelette (goodness, that looks wrong but I don't know what's right!) - with a bit of cheese, a knobbly yellow courgette from the garden, and lots of sage, basil and oregano and a couple of pea shoots from the garden too! :j:j So fresh and healthy, and so satisfying to come in with handfuls of green stuff and make tea! :j:T So I'm nicely full, and bathed in a very self-congratulatory glow now :A:rotfl:
(still haven't done any housework though - haven't even washed the breakfast dishes! :rotfl:) Just having a sit down with a cup of tea, and then I'll start - probably a rather quick and shabby whizz round the house0 -
cheery have you read the Eragon books? they are really good, very easy to read and the books are so much better than the film, though i did like the film as well.
i've got a weekend of house work on the cards boo hiss! i'm also hoping to get OH to do some 'jobs' which have been on the list for ages.0 -
I haven't read the Eragon books LT, I've listened to the first one on audio book though
I know the film's meant to be rubbish - but I do like a bit of rubbish occasionally to do my knitting to
Good luck with your housework! Just whizz round it and do the middles, nobody will notice....
I've done the bathroom and had a shower, just eating breakfast then will put some bread in the bread machine, start making jam, and tidy up the kitchen and living room, and close the door on the bedroomThey've just set off, so will be here about half 10
