Right, back now after a few hours of activity (of the work related kind :D). Have put all the bits of my chapter together in one document, in the right order, and written a decent ish introduction, so now it's an editing job, which somehow feels much easier than a *writing* job (even though some of my editing will, er, involve writing bits...)

Also walked to the shops in the rain with Mr Daffs, and told each other how great we were :D It's 5 years since we met this weekend :D We're going to have an anniversary date by the kitchen cupboard (the exact spot we met :rotfl:)

No wonder Hanb - look at all the romping that was done only today!!!!!

Happy Anniversary - enjoy - um romping by the kitchen cupboard, maybe ask the lodger to go out for a bit first then you won't have to romp in the rain :rotfl:

    :) hello :)

All boats cancelled here - bird table trashed - (although thats not the reason for the boat being cancelled) and I nearly got blown off the road on the way back home from a pals for lunch. I'm needing bricks in my pockets.

:rotfl: you lot! :rotfl: Shan't be romping (of any kind) by the kitchen cupboards, more a civilised nice cup of tea, which is what we were doing when we met :D Or rather, I'd been invited back to Mr Daffs' house by someone else, and since nobody was making tea (it was the middle of the night, and Mr Daffs was sorting out cushions for people to sit on), I started rummaging in the cupboards and putting the kettle on myself and making tea for everyone :D He was apparently Very Impressed Indeed at my impertinence (and tea making enthusiasm), and wandered over to see who this beautiful young lady rummaging in his kitchen cupboards was :D :rotfl:
  • Nice way to meet :) I like the idea of beautiful impertinent young ladies :) trying to make tea.........

I still am pretty much - although these days I usually succeed with the tea :D

No wind here, but rainy rainy rainy rain! Very wet indeed! Can't focus on stupid PhD, really silly really as I've got to stop in a bit and get ready to go to Manchester! But would quite like a nap instead.... :D Have at least got all the stuff in one document now - does that count as a draft?? Probably not! :rotfl:
  • Draft 1.0

    I think :) enjoy tonight :)

It's actually draft v2 :D And now it's got lots of red bits typed through it - always a good sign! :rotfl: (actually, it *is* a good sign because it means I've read it and commented on what bits need to move etc and what else needs saying, just haven't sorted it properly yet.) BUt mouse bites, mouse bites! :T :T Stopping in a min, just want to get to the end of section (so why am I on here?? :rotfl:)
