    Happy Anniversary, heartshaped pancakes are so romantic. And as for birids tweeting round the head, well I am right there with you. Nothing wrong with a bit of soppiness now and then.
    Love the idea of the bunting and the giveaway. How about you get your friend to be a guest blogger too, does he have a blog to talk about his stuff on? I am sure that the idea will snowball as missy says. Cant wait to see what you come up with.Vintage is a lovely idea too.
    Thanks for the link to the blog. Like Fay and yourself, I have been feeling a little like I am playing at being in Wales so that pulled me up short. Not sure how to follow that blog but I have bookmarked to go back and read. Enjoy the allotments.

    Well, it seems to be twenty to six now, and I've not done much! :eek: Went for a plod in the rain :D Ate soup. Made and ate lots of rhubarb scones :D:o Friends popped in at about 2 and have only just left. Mr Daffs came over all peculiar and has had to go and have a lie down :(

    So I guess there's nothing for it now than to sit on the sofa and get on with some PhD!

    Hey daffs just back from my day out, I hope Mr Daffs feels better soon.

    I really don't feel like doing very much, but my house is an absolute mess due to all the cupcake making and I really can't bring myself to clear it up, goodness knows why, as I know I will feel so much better once it's done, I just know it is going to take hours, feeling very unorganised and unmotivated again, ho hum.

    Good luck with the PHDing

    (I put your knitting pattern in the post the other day, by the way, hopefully with you soon!) xx

    OK you're on, see you back at half past, just after for a cuppa.

    oooh and thank you muchly for the knitting pattern, it is so very much appreciated, hopefully I'll get it tomorrow, I am always touched by the kindness of people on here, sharing things with people and doing good deeds. I love this little community.

    I wrote 100 words! :T :T Yay! :j :j Not much :rotfl: But 100 more than the rest of the day, and it's a nice little paragraph to start off the section I've been putting off most of the week :o

    Well done on tidying! :T (and lol at lilly getting lots of stares for being so loud :rotfl:) 15 mins off for a cuppa, then tackle the kitchen do you reckon?? I'll have 15 mins off too, and then onto the next paragraph :T We'll get there in the end! :T

    I love this little community too :D So cheery. Everyone just willing to give a bit of advice, or a cheery smile or a little suggestion, or a bit of encouragement, or pass on something they're throwing out, or share something they love, or instigate a cheerful adventure, like Fay with her 'why-don't-we...?' Friday :D This is what it's all about I say! :T

    <donates rest of rhubarb scones>

    (well, when I say *rest*, there's, er, one left... :o :rotfl:) But you're all welcome to share it :D

    oooh well done on the 100 word, 15 minute stints seem to work ok don't they. so ok you're on, although I think it might take more than 15 minutes to do the kitchen, but I can make a start atleast.

    oooh rhubarb scones yum yum... is it your rhubarb you've grown? I've picked my tomatoes and some green beans today, think I might make some soup.

    I wished we all lived a lot closer and could all have a real life in person community like this, it is lovely we can all be so close and do nice things via the net but it's nice to be able to just pop round a friends for a cuppa too. I don't really have that here.
