I second that
It's not something I have where I live either but this online niceness is a good second@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
it is indeed, I love it. Am hoping if I get my teaching assistant job I will make friends that way, or with the cupcake making too. It's hard though, it's not like when you're at school is it.
Just read back my comment well yes I will be at school as such lol, but I meant not like when you're at school and have hundreds of friends in your class etc lol0 -

It doesn't do to rush these things@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -

Oops, I see I'm late as usual :rotfl: sorry, got talking to friend on phone - but it was for work, was meant to be staying with her in London, but now I'm not, so need to sort out hotel! But all cheery
Will go and crack on, hope you're all busy busy already!0 -
hey am back thought i would check in a little later to join you with your times
Have bought my laptop downstairs so have just washed up and emptied the bin, have now the mammoth task of cleaning the cooker and wiping down the worktops, but will stop and have a cuppa first!!
how's the PHD hun?0 -
Oh dear, last out, first back in! :rotfl: You're probably all well stuck into your cleaning!
But I've done a bit more reorganising(I'm editing a chapter, so not rewriting loads, just the odd paragraph, and moving things round etc). Want a decent draft of the whole chapter, and the one before it, ready to print tomorrow so I can take paper copies on the train to London to edit with a red pen
Actually feels like I'm starting to achieve something - slowly! Although then I get all despondent again when I look at the list of things still to do...
But I was raving over on another thread about positive attitudes, so will try to keep mine! :T
Speaking of friends, I have a much better network now than I did at school. But I've lived here about 7 years now, and got involved in all kinds of things, and Mr Daffs has lots of friends that I've adopted tooMissy, hope your cupcake business, and your new job (!) gets you into a similar position. I wish we all lived closer too - but then if we spend as much time talking in real life as we do in here, we'd never get anything done at all!
:rotfl:
Start the next 15 mins at 7.30?? Or are you all done already??0
