  • I used Elite Savings a few months back, when i purchased an ipod and ofcourse never received it, their shiment website Sajilogistics (or some rubbish like that) kept showing movement on the product however it never arrived. Thing is the site is registered to a Ms Kaur from Finchley in London. Money brokers are just as bad and are in this scam big time. There must be a way to completely bring the !!!! down on these websites there has to be...My other plan is I have the details of who the money went to, and I believe this can be a facebook job and take it down to the cops, alternatively grab the photo and post it on every forum possible for scams....
  • Right the guys name is, i'm taking this !!!!ing !!!! to the big boys to show him who's money he just took:-

    Paramveer Takher

    Registrant's Address:
    32 to 66 High St
    London
    England
    E15 2NS
    GB
  • I too had this name and address gsent to me, but became immediately suspicious of the address. Lets hope these people will be bought to justice and made to compensate all of us who have fallen to their ghastly deeds.
  • On 2nd August 2010 I ordered a Bose HiFi from Elite Savings and paid £419.98 through Moneybookers. I received several communications from them regarding the progress of the order and a tracking number with Sajj Logistics.

Last week I wanted to check progress only to find that Sajj Logistics web site shows 'account suspended' and Elite Savings own web site is not available. I contacted the web hosting service who basically won't provide me with any info.

Then I saw this thread and contacted Moneybookers. They told me that as the money has been paid by them there is nothing that they can do and confirmed that in an email in which they quote their terms and conditions. I have to say I did not fully appreciate them!

I assumed that as I had paid with my credit card I would have some protection. However the company have initially stated that as the payment was made to a third party their liability is limited although they have agreed to send my a claim form.

Not sure what steps I should take now - any ideas? Has anyone reported this to the police and if so what was their reaction?

Contact the bank who your credit card is through, they should refund you your money.

Out of interest has anyone tried reporting these gits to Watch Dog. I watched it the other day and they manage to charge and convict some lock smith who was scamming people and had accumulated millions of ill gotten cash. In the end he was sentenced for 4 years prison.
  • I used Elite Savings and wanted to know if anyone can apply for a refund from Moneybookers or in order to apply for a refund the payment originally had to be done through Moneybookers.
  • It looks like this Paramveer Takher guy has setup lots of scam websites dating back to 2005!!! Just Google him. How has he not been caught? I really hope someone takes him down!!
  • I want to turn to costumer rigths company, so can you give as much info as you can to can that jork? You can P.M. me
  • I think I am coming to this thread very late!
We recently 'bought' from elitesavings - a Bose Sounddock - unfortunately we are still waiting for the item over 2 months later.
The website we were using to track the order has now closed down and no trace can be found of the person running it (Paramveer Takher).
From some other forums I've looked at on the web, this is a name which should perhaps be avoided - as well as any sites he is or has been associated with.
We're going to try and get our money back but I'm not hopeful! :(
  • It appears that this website is an out & out scam to make money out of only refunding about 80% of customers' money. It does appear weird that the money is paid by Money Bookers Ltd to Paramveer Takher, whereas he is not a director of Gadget Brokers Ltd, the company through which elitesavings is supposedly trading. Money Bookers Ltd obviously didn't do their due diligence on this company before taking on their custom.
The only way it seems to get your full money back is:-
    a) If you paid by credit card you are entitled to your full money back from either Money Bookers or the bank who issued the card, under Section 75.
    b) If you paid by debit card (as I did) you should write to your bank who issued your card & ask for the money to be refunded under Visa Chargeback. (I did ask Money Bookers Ltd but they said they couldn't as under their rules the transaction is irreversible.) My bank refunded the money but wrote to me saying they would contact the retailer's bank. If their bank provide evidence that the transaction was genuine my bank will ask me for the money back!! How can the transaction be genuine if the goods weren't received & I had an email from elitesavings stating they wouldn't be sending the goods.
  • Thank you for that info! And well done on getting your money back. I think I have no chance as it wasn't a credit card and it wasn't a VISA debit card. Moneybookers have already told me what they told you and our bank has said "nothing doing".
Unfortunately the site has disappeared and there seems to be no trace! Hard lesson to learn!
Just as a further comment and in reference to what Zammo76 said earlier, I have reported this to Watchdog and complained to Consumerline (a NI consumer rights organisation).
