  • Terrible. Just terrible.
Why do people use such companies?

    Thanks.
  • Hi all

I have paid about £290 to elite savings on 1st september 2010 for an HTC desire mobile phone.

They said i would see the goods in about 14 days but i haven't.

    I now find that
    their website is down
their website provider says the company is having problems
they do not reply to email

I paid with paypal. i have just started a dispute under their resolution centre procedure.

Does anyone know if I am dealing with a company who do actually send out the goods - I am not too fussy if I have to wait a month. Or are they a complete fraud?

i would advise all to avoid this website.
  • No you will never receive your goods the company were con artists who have taken your money and now removed their website.

I'm new here and have been reading this thread with interest as I have been looking to buy a Nexus One and found the phone through Google shopping at Elite Savings for just £324.99, I was skeptical about this price and by Googling the site found this discussion.

What I am wondering is whether anyone has tried this site since the thread was opened? because although people are suggesting it is a scam it seems nobody has actually bought anything yet. . . .

Any comments of good or bad experience would be appreciated.

    I notice Scaz04 hasn't been back.
  • I wrote to moneybookers I I got an answer, that they cannot help me... Suggsested to turt to my bank, but I paid througth moneybookers not thru my bank...
  • Forgot to say that I got my full refund via MoneyBookers on 08.09.10, 5 days after they confirmed they would refund the full amount, so for anyone that is still chasing refunds, head over to Moneybookers!

  • On 2nd August 2010 I ordered a Bose HiFi from Elite Savings and paid £419.98 through Moneybookers. I received several communications from them regarding the progress of the order and a tracking number with Sajj Logistics.

Last week I wanted to check progress only to find that Sajj Logistics web site shows 'account suspended' and Elite Savings own web site is not available. I contacted the web hosting service who basically won't provide me with any info.

Then I saw this thread and contacted Moneybookers. They told me that as the money has been paid by them there is nothing that they can do and confirmed that in an email in which they quote their terms and conditions. I have to say I did not fully appreciate them!

I assumed that as I had paid with my credit card I would have some protection. However the company have initially stated that as the payment was made to a third party their liability is limited although they have agreed to send my a claim form.

Not sure what steps I should take now - any ideas? Has anyone reported this to the police and if so what was their reaction?
  • Just found that sajjlogistics web site is suspended. Suspicious?
  • I ordered an Apple iPad from them 2.5 months ago and paid them the full ammount. Following acceptance of my order I received continuous updates full of excuses why I had not received the goods. I then requested a return of my payment, to which they replied through Money Bookers that it would be paid into my Bank in seven days. The ammount paid was £80.00 short, to which they replied that the balance would be paid when the shipping company returned the goods to the supplier.
I have heard nothing since after continuous Emails. Obviously this is another SCAM.
