The shoes are out of stock but will keep checking.
I expect I will make my own jewellery, that'll give me an excuse to buy supplies lol.
I don't know where you find all your money from so quickly, I really admire you for it. Have no doubt the loan will be gone by xmas.0 -
I'm sure you could make something really nice. I went to a wedding on Saturday where I made some earrings for the bride and bridesmaid, I wish I'd taken a photo of them now so I could show them. I think they turned out really nicely in the end. I'm considering making some to sell but I'd need to get some more pearl teardrops and gold leverbacks. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000

Thanks Maria. I have good news today, my global test market cheque has arrived. It's for £33 something so that will come off of the loan when it clears, and my ebay item is also up to £8.50 with a couple of days left.
I've now got over £50 towards my next overpayment, and the most recent one was taken from the account today

Not a huge amount to report today. I've cashed my cheque so that will be ready to come off of the loan soon, and my brother has given me £50 he owed me so I'll put that in the loan account tomorrow. The last overpayment is shown as cleared on zopa now, the actual figure won't be there til tomorrow but I'm impatient so I've updated today. I'll update tomorrow again when I know how much interest I've saved from it.
Day 18

Overpayment paid today: £460.00
Loan remaining: £6115.79
Total to be paid per day to hit target: £33.60Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000 -
The figures have updated on zopa today, I'm a bit annoyed because I'm only £1.61 away from being under 6k!
I've made another overpayment of £190 which will be taken on Monday, that includes the £50 that I put in the loan account today, but not the cheque which won't have cleared by then. My ebay item ends in 20 mins, it'as on £10.50 which I have a feeling will be the end price, better than nothing though.
Day 19

I haven't posted for a while because I've been having a bit of a down patch, but I'm an eighth of the way through my challenge today and my overpayment figures have updated so I'm adding those today.
Day 25
Money paid to loan account: £0
Overpayment paid today: £190.00
Loan remaining: £5765.60

I can't make another overpayment as the monthly loan payment is due to go on the 6th and it won't let me as it's too close now, but I've got another £70 lined up ready for the next overpayment. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000 -
I've just worked out that in the first eighth of this challenge (25 days) I've paid off £1151. My take home is only £1012 a month and I certainly haven't been spending nothing so I'd love to know how I've done it .Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000

I'm not amused. I won £50 on bingo, went to withdraw it and then realised it was my dads old card number and for that reason it wouldn't go through because there was a balance on the bingo account. Knowing this I didn't have much choice but to try to get back down to £0 so I could see if it would let me update the card. It did after I'd got as high as £160. I'm so gutted but I didn't have much choice as I'm sure the account would have been closed if I'd asked them to change the card when the balance was in there
. Ah well, at least I'll get £12 from the three pc surveys I've got to do. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000
