One Debt vs 200 Days

Keep plugging away Yukki, we'll have to spur each other on. I really need to do more with the jewellery bits of late.
My whole singular ebay item is doing well, it has 13 watchers after a couple of days and has a bid (albeit 99p). My Zopa figures updated today so I'll update them below. I'm nearly under £6,500 which is good as I tend to think of the debt in £500 chunks.
I've got the money to make an overpayment today but I'm going to wait til I'm paid on Friday to make a bigger one due to the whole delay thing with them being taken. I've got £220 waiting and I should also have the £13 from TAB & another £220 from my pay, so I'll be looking at an overpayment of about £450 which will almost bring me to the 6k mark, yey. I need to start doing surveys as I've been a bit lax lately.
Work is becoming increasingly painful and I'm finding it hard to care about what I'm doing or motivate myself. I surprised myself earlier with the volume of work I'd done today, I'm still way over target but I thought I was working really slowly because I really couldn't be bothered.

Thanks you two. I send people quotes for moving their gas meters Stacy. Until Monday when they changed the prices a bit the lowest this could cost was £722 inc VAT, so I get lots of angry people ringing me up and telling me we're ripping them off. I know it sounds a lot but there's actually not very much profit in it which is why most other companies won't touch domestic work. We're obligated to provide the service, people always say we have a monopoly which isn't true, it's just that other people don't want to give quotes because of the minute profit in it...
Anyway, in better news my ebay item has reached £5 with a week to go, and it has 14 watchers. I've also made £9.50 from selling some earrings, and my TAB winnings from last week are in my account. I'm not going to update my figures today because I haven't done anything to them since last time. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
I've had a good day today. I've sold one of my most expensive necklaces which has earnt me £20, and I won £20 on a scratchcard. My OH sometimes buys me them, I won £1 on one so I decided to get another which had the £20 on it
. I've also made an overpayment of £460 today (again, I'll update the figures when they update on Zopa). That wil be taken on Tuesday so I'll know the amounts on Thursday.
I'm going to my ex's sisters wedding tomorrow. Will probably have a good time when I get there but I wish I could just stay at home and have a lazy day playing with my sewing machine. Speaking of which, I almost forgot to mention I had a bit of a (huge) blip yesterday. I was quite miserable so I ended up spending £50 on fabric to cheer myself up, but I'm planning to use it to make all sorts of presents so in a way it's mse a I'll be able to make loads...
OH was also lovely and bought me a dress pattern which I really wanted but decided £10 was to much to pay for when I'd already bought all that fabric. When I got into work this morning he'd forwarded the email confirmation to me. He's far too nice to me.

It's nice to have you now Maria, better late than never!
I've added the £20 I won on the scratch card to the loan account towards the next overpayment. I have £220 sitting in my business account. I'm tempted to take £100 or so out to pay off of the loan... My ebay item is still at £5 but it has 15 watchers and 3 days left so I'm hoping it will shoot up at the end. I've thought of a few more things to sell, I just need to take decent photos so I can list them.
I've sold another one of the £20 necklaces I sold on Friday which is great. I'm really glad I joined Folksy, I'm up to 21 sales now which I'm really grateful for because it's all money off of the debt. I joined mid April so I'm averaging about 10 a month which I'm pleased with as I have next to no time to spend on it. I've been thinking recently, I'm pretty sure I've sold over 1000 bits of jewellery from ebay, etsy and folksy combined, which when you think about it is a reasonable achievement. I tend to put myself down a lot, but I'm quite proud of that. 813 of my feedbacks on ebay are from selling, and I know a lot of people don't leave feedback so there will be more than that (I hardly every sell 'personal' items). I've also made about 200 etsy sales, and the 21 from folksy. I sit at work now and wish I could quit my job to make jewelley. If I didn't have so much debt to pay off I'd be half tempted to do it, but I can't because if I didn't sell much my dad would be a bit !!!!!!ed. Never mind!
My fabric stash has arrived today, some of them are gorgeous. I'm so happy with it all. I can't honestly believe I can actually use a sewing machine properly! There's a lovely print with middle sized blue roses on it, my mum loves blue roses so I'm going to make it into something for her. I'm not sure what yet, maybe oven gloves or something exciting like that :rotfl:
Day 16
Money paid to loan account: £20
Overpayment paid today: £0
Loan remaining: £6575.79

well done, I haven't had has much luck on folksy as you, your niche obviously sells well.
I'm down to £17.50 per day until xmas to reach my target. Over the weekend I won £18 on TAB and have withdrawn £15 from paypal. I did sell a necklace last night which was nice. I'm also having a big clear out and chucking bits on ebay.
I bought my wedding shoes last week in the sale and DD loves them too, so am going to get her a pair for bridesmaid, which will shave £40 or so off the wedding budget as long as I can get them in the sale again.0 -
Fingers crossed you can get some more shoes
. Are you going to be making your own jewellery for the wedding?
My next overpayment gets taken tomorrow so I'll be able to update my figures on Thursday. Hopefully it should reduce the daily figure by £3 or so. I so want rid of this loan but I've got my cc bill to pay soon and the next £500 will be coming off of my overdraft come the end of August. I suppose that still gives me a couple of months though. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470
