Hi I started the boys name thread. Me and my lovely wifey have a little girl. I wanted to call her Leia after princess Leia off star wars. My wife wanted to call her Elle. So we ended up calling her Elleia. We love it and so does everyone else when they hear it said e-lay-ya.
    Loving this site.

I think Ophelia is a lovely sounding name, but the first thing I always think is 'get thee to a nunnery', I can't be the only one!

I think Ophelia is a pretty name when it's written down, but all I can hear is 'I feel ya' when it's said out loud. :o

I think Aveve sounds like hair products. A cross between Elvive and Aveda.

I also though it could be shortened to leah.

Aveve - insurance, bio chem company and hair products, if the name wasn't out the question now she would have the makings of a business woman lol.

She shouldn't have any problem getting sponsorship!

    I'll vote against Ophelia!

I'm a big Shakespeare fan, but to me it just sounds too much like "I'll feel ya"!!!! I'd worry that during the teenage years, she'd get the p*ss taken out of her!

    What about Viola (12th Night)?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
