I love Sky! What a lovely name (although I bet OH would accuse me of watching too much Neighbours, hehe).

I've always liked names like milly and molly and lilly. Think they are cute but work when they grow up.

My biggest annoyance with names is when you know people with a name and it gives you a bad impression.

E.g. I was bullied horribly at school by a Jacqualine, a Sadie and a Toni. Imagine my horror when I found out my neice was to be called Sadie! Took me a year to not think of the bully when I heard the name!

Same with female Jamie. I like the name but know of 2 growing up who were both, well slags. Lol. And now I can't think of anything else when I think of that name!!

    Anyone else have this issue?

I remember reading your post as I have a 3 year old Orla and was waiting in anticipation that yours would be another Orla! I've never met another one yet!

Alexander is a lovely name and glad you are both doing well. xxx

I like all the names you mentioned, especially Ophelia. I cannot see anyone having problem with those, apart from perhaps the spelling of Aveve. Which is a lovely name too. :)

I love the name Alexander. Wanted to call my firstborn that name but I had an uncle called that, and I didn't want him to think i'd called my son after him. So stupid! Gave him Alexander as a middle name though. :)
