no link to it through google or register confirmation email from them?
what you think?
update, login in through the halifax portal takes me to a blank page? omfg0 -
The domain name is owned by LTSB, and uses their nameservers.
What do you mean by "scam". Have you provided any personal details?Debbie0 -
From the front page it looks like a normal customer feedback system, they often have funny URLs.
If they asked you to enter anything like your internet banking login then I would be very concerned.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
The Email (I've just had one - and it's definitely from Halifax) - would have directed you here? :-

I registered for this via LloydsTSB. I did get an email back but unfortunately I opened it on my iPod and was then unable to see it in my in box on my PC.
I emailed back and asked to resend so I could read it but still received nothing.
Would be grateful for any updates on this0 -
Just had this email, to an address that only the Halifax should have, from someone calling themselves "Charlotte" with no surname.
I like how the first line is simply "Dear: " without my name afterwards. That doesn't look suspicious at all. I also like how they have carefully constructed the link in such a way that in Mozilla Thunderbird the real URL doesn't appear in the statusbar when you hover over it.
A quick check of the message source and it's just a direct link to the site with no identifying strings or anything but really? The only way they could have made this look more dodgy is if they'd written it in Nigerian English!0 -
Me too. Both my wife and I have just had the email from Charlotte - again just 'Dear' with no name and no further identifying apart from the link.
Although it appears to be 'real' and not a scam, it is a poor attempt to get individuals to join. At best I can imagine that 'Charlotte' drafted a proposed email which was 'accidently' distributed before being completed with personal addressing as well as logos and identifiers.
My flippant side is thinking along the lines of - 'it's to do with banking so it will be a screw-up!

No, I've been participating in this for several months. It's legitimate customer feedback and regularly uses the name 'Charlotte'.0 -
My OH & I have both just received these emails to addresses that we only use for our banking and it did worry me slightly as there was no way of identifying who it was from.
Thanks for the reassurance, it's put my mind at rest.0 -
I have just received this email in my junk folder. After a quick search, it appears to be valid.
I filled out the registration questionnaire using a bogus email address. Answered a series of questions about lifestyle, income, types of accounts etc.
Last part is to provide personal details so I closed the session.
Would be interested to know what involvement there is once you register.0
