Hmmm... not happy about this one. It says that my order can only be charged to my account. What account? I don't have an account with them. I certainly don't want to set one up with them. Why can't I select pay by card?
  • I just tried it JoeyEmma and the option to pay by credit card came up at the top of the first page of the checkout pages.

i've given up trying.i went 2 order the £24.99 MR but it tells me i can't use the code-not that i've used it 2 many times.only other option wud b 2 ring empire but not a wise move me thinks cos they're bound 2 ask how i got the code
  • I knew nothing about slow cookers until I read about them here on OS. I've pondered gettting one but from reading peoples praise and receipes on here most seem to use them for meat based dishes. I'm a veggie - are they any good for vegetarian recipes or is it not worth me getting one?

    cheers

I've just ordered mine from Empire, you lot are sooooo brilliant! Put in the code & it calculated the amount I owe them as £0, it should be with me in 5-7 days due to bank holiday :T

I typed slow cooker in the search engine & it came up with 3 different ones

I've just ordered the Hinari one too using the £10 off code, therefore nil to pay. I know its a small one but does it do one meal ok for 4 people?

is it true it stinks the whole house out though? my mum reckons she had one years ago and while the food was really nice, the smell permeated even into the wardrobes upstairs and everywhere (which is nice while its fresh but not when its not iyswim!!)

I suppose it does go through the house, yes but never been a problem for me. Cooking cabbage does the same thing as our kitchen is in the basement and has no door so the smell drifts up stairs. Doesnt bother me!
