Thanks for the replies ladies. That's been a great help!

I also got mine from Empire with the £20 code, it arrived today but I daren't ring them and say I have no recipe booklet with it.

Give me the number, I'm not backwards in coming forwards in matters such as those! :rotfl:

Tips for when you do pluck up the courage to phone them:-

    1. Stand up when you make the call, don't ask me why, but apparently it's more empowering (as told to me many years ago, and it seems to work)

    2. Be sure what you want to say before you phone, even if it means you write yourself a sort of script of questions. Be clear, be concise. Are you querying if there *should* have been one at all, or are you querying why one wasn't included if it should have been ;)

    3. If you get no joy with your query to Empire, write to the product manufacturer's instead. Often far more helpful.

    4. Just remember: they can't *see* you and calling to query something isn't a hanging offence ;) ((hugs))

Finally, enjoy playing with your new toy :D

LOL Queenie, I dare not draw attention to myself as I've ordered something else aswell! Yikes! (Mind you I did check the box and it says instruction manual enclosed, doesn't mention a recipe booklet being enclosed, so maybe there isn't one?

HappyS3 - in that case then, write direct to the manufacturer ;) Keep a low profile with Empire until your other order arrive :D

Ok I've done a search for Empire and the Discount Codes threads - this link will take you to the search results referring to the voucher, not sure which one benbenandme is referring to precisely though so you'll have to have a look through

    HTH :)

I've just ordered mine from Empire, you lot are sooooo brilliant! Put in the code & it calculated the amount I owe them as £0, it should be with me in 5-7 days due to bank holiday :T

I typed slow cooker in the search engine & it came up with 3 different ones
