Just bought my own from empire direct - got an order confirmation email (about 5mins after ordering, nothing since and it's been about 4hrs). It's the Hinari £19.99 one. Hope it's a good 'un = )

  • I'm looking for a slow cooker reciepe to make a curry from scratch. The only ones I can find on the forum are using curry powder or from a jar. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Mind you SC has still to arrive Ive only just ordered it from Empire using the £20 off code and haven't yet had an email confirming. Might get it anyway even if they dont give me the discount. Its the morphy richards one and its the sam price as in Argos so I might as well spread the payment.

    Hi Alison,

Curry Queen posted some cook from scratch recipes on this thread: Curry Night that could probably be adapted for the slow cooker.

I'm looking at Empire stores now

I can't decide if it is better to pay the extra £4.99 and get the morphy richards one as it is oval and will be able to fit a roasting joint or small chicken in, or just go for a super cheap one and get it for free.

    What do people think?
  • I ordered the Hinari one from Empire last night as well. So far so good - I got the confirmation email this morning. This forum is so brilliant!
