Yikes, re prices on Boilerjuice this morning for BT42 area:

around 8am for 900 = £309.02 incl vat
about 9.30am for 900 = £327.92 incl vat

Guess prices are on the up again!

Have ordered from Valueoils.com before and found them to be very reliable.

Wonder if some of the online sites just haven't got around to updating their prices yet. Might be a good idea to get in there quick if anyone needs oil soon.

These people are taking the p1ss! As soon as oil prices rise the home heating price rises - but watch how quickly they fall if the oil price falls. Nobody is gonna tell me that the fluctuation since Monday has done any damage to current profit margins - Profiteering from a cartel - they know they can do it so they do!

We have a cash sale on the house -uninexpectedly. Just got 900 litres of oil delivered.Can it be siphoned to our rented property? What firm would do that? I expect they charge too. Any ideas?

This was someone who viewed a few weeks back- didnt hear anything and supposed they werent interested. Then we got a call last Thurs. They offered the asking price and we were happy with that.

Thanks for the tip- I'll ask them if they would be interested in buying the oil.

I live in the Craigavon/Lurgan area and tried ordering home heating oil from valueoils earlier today for a relative but was unable to as it said they do not deliver to this postcode. I tried my postcode as I had just received a delivery from them last week, but I got the same message. I emailed them in case it was a problem with their site but apparently not. I got the following reply:

Just paid Reddon Fuels £179 for 500 litres, next best price I was quoted was £189 by Maxol Direct so if you looking for oil I would also get a quote from your 'little' local company (whoever they may be-I just used Reddon as they are only 7 miles or so from my house!) as their prices are ofter the best!
