Is it correct that although oil prices are supposed to be at their highest that they will increase again on Monday?

I need to order oil but I thought it was going to come down again? Do I need to order today?

I would order now-I ahve been checking the prices every day this week and they keep going up-I checked on Maxol Direct on Tuesday at midnight-£174 for 500l and by 9am Wednesday it was £189 for 500l.

At this time of year home heating oil prices tend to rise regardless of what the crude oil barrell price is doing due to the colder weather and greater demand. It i unlikely that prices will drop this side of Christmas!

Shop around though-this could save you up to £40 on a 500l fill up!

i used a website to order oil on this forum but cant remember the name. it bulked together all th orders for your postcode and the price was cheaper if others in your area ordered oil. does anyone remember the mame?

Yesterday morning I ordered 900 litres with Pattersons oils, they quoted me £313 which was the cheapest I could get. They said it will be delivered tomorrow, Monday.

I normally order more but I am hoping it will come down.

Anyone know if the prices are expected to rise/fall soon?
Am due to order some, last ordr 18/12/06 for 900l cost 256.86 from valueoils but when checking current prices 900l = 331.47!!!
700l is more than i got 900l for last time so thats 200l down the drain.

Hoping someone could give some guidance on what to do as oil will probably last to the end of the month.

Wholesale market has gone up $7 in the last week....set to increase not to go down...soz!...:(

Prices have been steadily rising throughout 2007 and have taken a steep rise recently. There was an item on the radio this morning about it but I can not remember what the reasons where it gave. I need oill in the next few weeks myself and am wondering whether to jump now or hold of for another while ... some you win, some you lose
