The past is no guide to the future but last year the oil price dropped in November. I know because I kept hanging on as the price was going up in October as it is this year. I suspect as everyone UK and the States is buying there winter fuel so the traders take advantage. The stock levels then come out showing high stocks (hopefully) and down goes the price as long as we dont have a bad cold snap before December. On this basis I am holding out again!! But!! I could be wrong.0

Funny you should say that, the guy in Patterson oils today said that he gets market reports daily and that he see's the prices reducing in the next few days and weeks, not by a huge amount but at least it isnt a rise

Hi,
Paid £ 312 for 900 litres yesterday fron Deighan Oils, part of the Nicholls Oil Group. Tried many others but this one always seems cheaper!0 -

unfortunately i couldn't wait until then and went for 500 litres hoping the prices will drop again in early spring.
194 from Shell
i know it wasnt the cheapest but as we have used them a number of times before they allow a cheque to be posted after delivery, giving that little bit of extra time to pay for it!0 -
What is happening with the oil prices £364 Value Oils ? £30 rise in a week ?0

Hayes Fuels still quoting £358 today, but hey, although competitive, it's still on the high side. Winter's approaching, so let's make a killing, it seems. More and more folk seem to be buying 500 litres at at time now, I'm told - 1) because it's less money to lay out and 2) in the hope that the price comes down.0

Crude oil price is still on the way up;
