I've had some experiences with so called 'Christian' businesses.
My verdict is that most of them "are good living for a good living" for themselves and are best avoided.0 -
Anyone had much experience with Redon ? I usually buy my oil from them , but I've heard a rumour if you buy 900 litres you're more likely to get close to 800 . I'm wondering is there any truth or is it just sour grapes from a competitor ?0

Dip and prominently mark your tank prior to delivery.
A dishonest tanker driver might be put off by the markings?0 -

Always check the sight gauge on your tank before and after. You should get a ticket from the diver which is printed out by the meter on the tanker. These meters should be calibrated - just as a petrol pump is in a garage. If you have any doubts go to Weights & Measures.0 -

Dont trust the print out!! (see previous posts in this thread) Try to have the delivery when there is someone at home that should also put a shady driver off.Dave0 -
Compared a few prices
Value Oils were the cheapest 1000 litres= £301.10
Ordered Saturday, delivered this morning Monday0 -
Just ordered 1000L from Knockbracken as they are my local supplier (nothing to do with the Christian company angle). Mind you the price they quoted initially was something like £335 - they price matched H Ritchie though at £310.0

Ordered 500l from valueoils.com last night around 22:00, delivery man arrived this morning at 08:00!
Brilliant service - will definitely be using them again.0 -
Compared a few sites and companies.
Bangor Fuels was cheapest but only beat Carlisle fuels by £2.
Always pays to shop around.0 -

Boilerjuice little bit better @ £154! Yes looks like it is creeping up again (surprise surprise!) That and the good news that interest rates are set to rise if not to-day next month!
