Is that can't or won't support her? You can't have the baby and not her.

kwl, do you have your own place or live with parents? If you do live with your folks I suppose it seems like a big jump. If not I really cant see how much more expensive it will be to have them move in!

    wage 1556

    mortgage 600pm
    Council tax 90 pm
    electric 82pm
    car insurance 50 pm
    tv license 28 for 1st 6 month
    1 loan 364
    food 80 pm
    petrol 120 pm

then you have things like Car tax unexpected bills repairs. and that dosnt come close . i dont go out if i do its once in a blue moon. i dont smoke or drink although i get maybe a few cans on a friday or saturday. i have to be very carefull.

But the only advice you WANT to hear is help on how to defraud the benefits system and know what you can get when you do it? Right?

Sorry - it's posters like your 'boyfriend' that make the whole benefits system here in the UK a joke, and put a cloud over the countless number of people who claim legitimately.

You have basically come here asking for 'what can I get if I commit fraud'. Well, if you do commit fraud, I hope you get exactly what you are entitled to.......a nice little bunkbed in a facility provided by HM with three meals a day.

Just out of curiosity - have either gone onto any of the other boards as advised and checked to see how you can manage more comfortably together as a family on the money available without resorting to fraud? Nope - didn't think so.

Do you really need your car?

Your electric is very expensive - my parents pay at least £15 pm less and that's for 3 adults.

Bloody hell are you for real? First of all, you have just blown your 'we're not a couple' defense, as you have said you will be there every day, every night - I'd certainly be watching for twitching curtains if I were your girlfriend!

So you do not believe you are worth '£220 per month', or is it your girlfriend who feels you are not worth that?

Child benefit is there to use FOR the child, not to create a nest egg while getting the taxpayer to support your fraudulent lifestyle and THEN have to ask the taxpayer to house and feed your girlfriend while she's serving a sentence for benefit fraud.

    You must be a troll..........

never said i would stop every night. would you rather i didnt go at all. im doing it to make sure they both have what they need.

i go to see my gran every night make sure she is ok . maybe i should tell them i live there.

Hi and well done for posting, I would understand if you didn't want to!

I feel bad now for being a bit harsh but it is so frustrating to hear of couples putting benefits before babies!

I wasn't much older than you when I had my first baby and my partner earned only 10k (this was only 12 years ago), we struggled but we managed to buy a tiny house and provide everything our little girl REALLY needed - we also had a lot of fun learning to budget and run a home, and we were so in love with our baby that the material stuff really didn't matter.

Don't miss out on the stuff that makes a family a family - its the hardships and the triumph over disasters that will bring you all closer together and make you a team.

I sincerely wish you both all the best

everything is electric in the house heater and cookers. once i have paid of the last 200 of my debt to eon i shall save around 200 a year and swap providers.

i also travel 1 hour to work and if i didnt have have a car it could cost me more in train tickets and buses. aswell as losing more time with my child as i work 12 hours most days.

But do you have a baby with your gran and do things as a family with her? Different scenario.

You seem to have your mind set on putting benefits before family, so enjoy your choice. Personally, if my partner had the same outlook, he'd be out on his ear.
