Fruit £6.01 - whoopsies in Waitrose so have raspberries, strawberries, figs and William's pears, I have cooked the strawberries for compote and I ate the raspberries yesterday. Pears and figs will last the rest of the week. Off to work now and I have £18 in my purse to last until Friday when I get paid. I don't have to do anything much this week so we shall see............0

Coffee £2.20, another lovely autumn day.0

No spending day, spent last night with friends. Science Museum Lates tonight which should be fun. I am also going to hear an astronaut speak tomorrow night, a very scientific week. I made the bad mistake of getting on the Tube at 5.30 in half term which bought back my Tube panicky feeling,I managed to stay on the tube but was in a bit of a state, back on the buses today. Roll on Friday I am looking forward to a week-end of making things.0

Just caught up, sorry the sale fell through on the flat. Good luck with CC repayments, one of mine has finished its 0% deal and I still have a few hundred to clear - not MSE at all.

Hi Cath, lovely to see you. I am going to rent out my flat and move somewhere else for a change of scene, and hopefully to cheer me up a bit. Yesterday coffee £2.20. Science Museum Lates was very good, astronaut tonight.........I want a night in eating rubbishy food in bed watching the TV, perhaps that can be Friday. Tea cosies under negotiation with a stall holder at Greenwich market for £8 an item I want £10 really but perhaps we can get it up to £9 and seal the deal.0

Sounds like you've had a great week
. And that'll be a great extra, hope you do get the price upped a bit.
Glad to hear you've been able to 'shop from your wardrobe' for the winter coat, they are so pricey it is great to find something you love that you already have!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Tea cosies sorted at a unit price of £9. I think this is fair to us both so I am happy AND I don't have to spend a day on a freezing cold market or get myself there and back etc, etc. They are being collected on Thursday evening, hoorah.
Whispered in lower case.......... food £8.95, Sia nativity figures £19.99. Oh dear, never mind they are loverly as well as bargainous. However that leaves me with a mere £11.94 for the rest of the week. Fares paid for and plenty of food so it is a question of whether I can forgo early morning coffee. We probably all know the answer to that but let's see.
As my house is now done up I am decorating for Christmas, half in a tasteful £19.99 nativity way and half in a "it will be funny" way. I am making a Christmas pixie door sausage, it is the start of a definite decoration overload. Even my Mother, Queen of Christmas, went "do you have time?" I am sure it will be a funny talking point. I may be wrong.
Off to hem the dress I have been making for weeks it seems to be "rather nice" and does not look home-made. I am going to wear it for work tomorrow. I also need to go to Boots and get weighed, I am hopeful the that this is going to be V good news judging by the size of clothes that I can now fit into. I am off to the US next Saturday for a week for work , how lucky am I? It's Arizona so should be an extra week of summer.0 -
Oh dear, oh dear I have added up what I have spent on food this month and it is a horrifying total £435.32. I did have a couple of expensive meals out but even so it is a bit scary. So I need a plan for November, and I am off now to hatch one.0
