I did a bit of C25k+ Stepping Stone again tonight but had me beat at about twenty minutes, as it was too warm and sunny - certainly built up a bit of a glow.

Week 2 complete today. Week 3 run 1 scheduled for Sunday.

Am really enjoying myself but so frustrating that two weeks of decent exercise plus calorie counting and I have lost nothing. In the past calorie counting alone would see some loss. Grrrr. Still I shall persevere.

I've been doing c25k since august and with that and slimming world I've lost 2stone1, but I would say I didn't really start to notice until about week 5/6 of c25k. I started them both the same week and wanted to see results faster, but they came.

Needless to say I haven been out running yet.........it really is blowing a gale! Already lost half my fence!:eek:

well done on the loss that's amazing!! I hope i'll see results soon, I thought moving more, eating less and quitting drinking would help...but the scale is refusing to budge!

It wasn't too windy here this morning, picking up now though so glad I went out when I did.

WOW - that's a great weight loss. I'm hoping for something similar in the next few months (with a lot more to lose after that though :-( )

Heading out to do my last (but 4th) Week 1 run then having a go at Week 2 tomorrow. It's weather like this that makes me happy I am doing this at a gym and not outside - I would've given up after the first run!

I'm thinking the first 4 weeks should be hard but do-able - just dreading Week 5 onwards which look like hell!!

Is anyone else in their first week of this? I started a couple of months ago and got to week 3 but then was ill and stopped. Just completed 2nd run fo week 1 this morning in the wind and am feeling good for it.

Just wondered if there was anyone else just starting off or are you all seasoned runners?

I've just finished the first week a few hours ago.

I'm not sure whether I'm confident about next week or not. When running for the 1 minute I think I might have been able to do the 90 seconds but I was hoping I'd find it much easier as the week went on and I don't think I have (well, maybe a tiny bit).

I keep telling myself "at least I only need to run 6 times instead of 9/10" so hopefully that will keep me going.

I've been tracking my distance and calories on a spreadsheet - along with tonnes of other useless information. I'm hoping as the weeks go on, I'll see my distance get much better. At the moment I've managed a maximum of 2.91km but only 2.87km today. I blame the personal trainers at Pure Gym coming over and talking to me! Ruined my flow!

Anyway, good luck for the rest of Week 1 - I'm sure you'll do great if you did it before!

Just finished my last run - 2.7 miles in 33 mins - when she said that's 30mins up, I thought well ill just run home see if I can manage it and I did!

    C25k - DONE :T:T:T

Now for park run on Sunday

All those in the first weeks, keep going I nearly gave up at week 3, but didn't! For those that are keeping stats, I've used run keeper from the start as well as the nhs pod casts and it's brilliant for looking back a previous runs and my pace has improved so much, distance too.

My friend is in her first week and she was struggling with week one and when I went back on run keeper to check, it took me 5 attempts to move on - keep going tho!!

Me me me!!!!! Just come back in about 5 mins ago from my first run.

I feel shattered but good at the same time as well.

I have been told by my Dr a week or so ago for my MH reasons to go for a walk 3 times a week. I bought my trainers weeks and weeks ago LOL!!!! borrowed an MP3 Player. Put on two bras to stop the bounce as I don't have a sports bra.

And I have been reading around for ages about being careful so not to knacker my knees. As I am rather a big girl. Finding it hard not heel strike which is what is suppose to mess the knees up.

Going to have glass of water, a shower and off to bed to read I am pooped.

Lets hope I feel this good after the next one. And can keep going.

    Yours

    Calley

Well done on your first run Calley!

I'm the same as you - bit of a big girl. Stick with your 2 bras - even a sports bra doesn't seem to work too well for me! Oh well, maybe it will attract the male species at some point!!

My knees aren't too great at the moment. I've got myself some knee supports in the hope that will help. Think it's from when I fell up a couple of steps and smashed my knee on the floor. Didn't think it was so bad at the time but seems to be causing problems now :-(

First run of week 2 tomorrow - eeeeek!
