In the terms is written that in order to be eligble for claim you have to keep the phone in th name of original applicant.I do not know if i sell it whether they will be able to track tha phone or not.Thanls0

they would be able to track it using the imei No - afaik (or is that just to enable them to lock the phone if need be ?), but they would not know who was using it ...... it could still be you
maybe someone with a more definitive answer will be able to help !"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

Kris, it means u have to keep the line in ur own name. i mean ur name have to shown on bill. u can sell the phone...no problem.
to be honest, 14 months ago i took a contract from simply3g & sold the nokia set within 10 days for £110. then got full cash back £420 within next 13 months.
cheers!!!0 -
Well, further to my reply at the top.
Simply 3G are trying to get out of paying out on my wifes final claim,as they say she got an upgrade direct from 3 before the contract finished, which is true, but she is adamant that the ugrade and new contract didn't start until the end of the current deal.
Looks like a fight could be on the way.

Ken.
With Three, when you upgrade even if it's 2 months early your new contract starts from the date of expiry of the original contract, so you should not be affected. It doesn't effect Simply3g in any way, other than an excuse to get out of paying you. Get onto Three and register a complaint...0 -
Hi
Has anyone managed to contact Simply 3G in the last couple of weeks. I have just noticed that all phone numbers have been removed from their website. When I ring the numbers that I had for them from previous cashback claims I just get a message to say that lines are currently closed and to check the website for opening hours (which aren't listed).
Another forum reports that they have gone into receivership but I have just spoken to the Insolvency Service and Consumer Direct and they are unaware of any change in circumstances. Companies House also states that the company is still active.
I have just sent Simply3G an email via their webservice - so fingers crossed they still exist. I must admit I am starting to get a bad feeling about this - especially as they technically will owe me £900 between now and next July.
If anyone on the forums can shed any light on this or has also been having problems contacting Simply 3G (or Simply Communications UK Ltd) as they are also known could they let me know what has happened and if they have had ay luck.
Regards
